Really cool concept! I love the minimalistic vibe, and the monochromatic colour pallete!

Use of the limitation
The main mechanic of the game, shooting, uses small chunks of the player as ammo!
Cookies eaten
None, but I did eat a year-old pack of Smarties that was lying around in my junk drawer.
How was your experience with Mini Jam?
The jam was awesome! This was my first time doing a game jam, and I actually had a lot of fun pulling all nighters to finish my game. Mini Jam is a great event, and I especially love the twist of a limitation being announced at the beginning of the jam.

Hi! Good game!Thing that can improve enjoyability of the game:
1. Combos. Right now you didn't reward player if he did something like 2-3 pop's in a row with one shot. He will get only 10 points per ball.
2. More combos. To increase combo propability - bounce shot from poped ball not to center, but to nearest ball. So player can cause ten of pop's in one shot.
3. Auto shoting - One shot on click, burst shoting on holding button down. I noticed that blue bubbles spaw when I get low on HP, so I started to shot with intense rate, but was disapointed that I can't hold the mouse button.
4. To balance the item above -take points from the player on miss. So burst shoting will be not so overpowered.
Thanks for all the suggestions! Combos in the game could absolutely be improved with the ideas you have below, as currently they're implemented in mostly the form that they were when I first added them in by accident haha. As for holding down to shoot, it's a great idea but I didn't really want the player to simply be able to constantly hold down and easily pop everything without any punishment. And a penalty system for missing a shot would definetely not be something I'd want to add, since in my opinion, it would take away a lot from to the whole chill experience by being too stressful for the player. Anyways, I really appreciate the rating and feedback regardless, so thank you!
Really humble little game that suprised me with how relaxed and chill it was, I especially liked HOW the bubble cut away piece by piece based on where your angle was on the circle, still trying to wrap my head around how you did that. I think i got to around 3000 points but didnt see any noticable change in difficulty. I would love to see maybe an accuracy stat for amount of shots fired vs missed. Also maybe some different bubbles that were red that if you hit it blew up ALL bubbles, even the health, causing you to be cautious at times. Very good game! :)
Very cool ideas you've came up with to improve the game! If this wasn't the last day, I probably would've tried to implement some of them. Thanks for the long review, I really appriciate it! (Also, it took me almost a full day to get the bubble removal mechanic working, so I'm really happy that somebody actually noticed it haha. )
Love the atmosphere! A really neat concept as well. Easy to understand and simple get into. The music and sfx were also really calming! The limited art style also really worked well with the atmosphere, the colours you chose worked together nicely to make it all pop as well.
Wish it slowly ramped up in difficulty, was able to get a score of 5000 before calling it quits. Otherwise an excellent entry!
Thanks for your comment & rating! Funnily enough, the game actually does ramp up in difficulty as time passes, but it does so incredibly slowly, meaning that it takes a while for the game to actually get hard. When I was messing with the values, I decided that I didn't want to make the game too hard too quickly since I wanted the game to retain a more chill feeling, but I agree that without much difficulty, the game gets boring. I may put out a quick update today, and if I do I will certainly try to balance out the difficulty a bit. Appreciate the feedback!
I really like this game! I enjoyed it quite alot and the simplicity is pretty good and fits the game very well! The concept is pretty good and presentation is cool, use of the limitation is good too, I can't honestly see any downsides to this except it's pretty easy at 1000, could be faster.
Nice work! Great example of something simple done really well and polished. Good fun and nice music to chill too, good job! (also check this score)
Full stars for this one !Loved its simplicity and feel, it's an easy concept, not so hard implem...but it works soo well !! Well done.
Good game! So chill. I love the minimalism. I could play this all day haha. Well done!
Praise:
Great sound design. Nothing is out of place, the music is relaxing and groovy, and the pops and sounds are satisfying.
The bites out of the bubble and their restoration were cleverly controlled and animated.
It felt really nice to watch the bubble bounce off and combo.
Other Feedback:
The score animation is better than no animation, but the motion is pretty exaggerated so it is a little distracting from the chill experience.
I love the minimalistic look you've got for this! The game plays really well, particularly liked trying to get combos once I realised the fired bubble could bounce between enemies.
pop.
Very fun. I just noticed that a pause menu was incomplete because when i pressed esc it just froze the game.
I feel bad for shooting parts of myself. Simple yet beautifully executed!
