Wow. The game looks absolutely amazing. I wish the jumping was a little easier or there were checkpoints though.

How was your experience with Mini Jam?
It was awesome. I've learned a lot.

Awesome art style, everything looks really cool together! The music was also nice. The idea of turning into a shuriken was also really neat and fun to use.
My main issue was with the camera. Felt like it was constantly lagging behind so it was difficult to place my self on platforms precisely. Some checkpoints here and there would've also helped with difficulty. Otherwise, awesome game!
Great platformer! I love the pixel art, and the music fits so well with the game. The movement was incredibly tight, making the game a fun to play experience, and the special ability was designed well. The only thing I take issue with is the difficulty of the levels; they were extremely hard! Other than that a great game, nice job.
This was great, loved the music and art you had here, the controls were responsive although I had difficulty getting the wall jump to work as I wanted it to sometimes. The instant respawns and the shuriken ability are a nice touch!
you literally made shuriken school but it's a 2D game and it look nice xD (I feel like I'm playing Celeste, the game is so hard)
I love platformers like this. Yours is really solid. The shuriken idea is really cool and the wall jumping to shuriken bubble bounce combo-ness is very satisfying. Well done!
It would have been nice if the bubbles respawned after you jump on them. :D
This is great, and definitely has the potential to be a really good platformer - I think a few easier levels at the start to help the player get used to the controls and a few slight tweaks to make it respond just a little more consistently with the wall jumps and you'd have the basis for a fantastic game.
As it is currently - still a really good game! Music is perfect, the shuriken mechanic is a whole lot of fun and the level design was full of nice, cleverly built challenges. Really enjoyed my time with this!
A great platformer, love the ninja character design and use of the body as the shuriken. The music is also great, nice job!
Had a really good time on the first level, the controls were interesting to get used to. The wall jumping feels very nice once you get the hang of it. Character movement is pretty jumpy and sensitive though.
I got stuck on the start of the second level, no matter what I did I couldn't get past it :(
Wow this update is great! I managed to finish the game!
The challenge involved was just right to where I didn't want to quit.
Only feedback I have now is that I had no idea you could shuriken through the enemies until I read the comments of other people. I had thought that only the purple zones could be used with the shuriken. It would be nice if there was a note or hint when you first encounter a shuriken zone of each type.
Entretenido el juego, y la mecánicas simple. Buen juego Bro.
A bit too hard for me. I could not get past the second level beginning, with the saw blade. One time it looked like I clear it, but the hit box got me pretty far out.
It's a shame because I really like the music and the feel of the controls. Flying around as a shuriken was quite fun as well.
Felt like playing again this morning, only died 5 times, I'm getting better!
Since it has so much potential I felt I could add some finer feedback:
There is a spot in the second level, near the first enemy, where there is a ledge below. I saw this ledge and thought to drop down to avoid the enemy, and going near the ledge killed me. I assume this was below a certain height that is programmed to trigger death, but it was really unexpected because you took the time to put the ledge there.
Now I realize the design intends for me to shoot through the enemy with the shuriken so I wanted to add something on that: Having to monitor the shuriken indicator in the top right can really take the player out of the focused, flow state that the nice music and platforming creates for them. It is usually better to have that kind of indicator near or on the player character itself because that is where the player's eyes are focused. An example of this is Celeste's dash which is indicated in the form of the character's hair color. Something even simpler like putting the indicator near the player would achieve the same effect though with less work and explaining. : )
The musi cwas soooo goood !! Jamming along !Game is great and well implemented, the wall jump mecanic was a bit hard to get around though...but still, good game !
I like the idea, great art and cool music. But controls are too sensitive. And one place is impossible for me. It's the moment right after you must fly at the second time through purple things as shuriken. I guess it's not far from the end?
