Beautiful artwork, including the fantastic looking UI and game page - the amount of polish for a game jam is honestly staggering. The tutorial in particular was exceptional.

I really liked the levels in Endless Mode, I thought the different challenges you introduced at each stage were great and far more interesting than simply increasing the number of enemies on screen. I'd have loved it to have been slightly more difficult sooner, but think that's likely due to personal preference more than anything.

As an additional thought - it was inspired to use bubblegum as ammo, given the theme and how you incorporated it. Love it!

I really enjoyed this game, nice balance between timing your horizontal move patterns, shooting the enemies and trying to time the switch to avoid the traps, very unique concept. Shooting your life away was good for the limitation. Love the UI design and art and the animations were solid as well. Would have liked to hear some beep boops coming from the character or more sfx in general but that's just me being picky haha. Overall amazing game, great job! Oh and sidenote, your game page looks spectactular!

I really like this game. The art is amazing. I love everything about this game, like the fact that even in the tutorial you can see how much work was put into it , images everywhere so you can learn easily, and the stuck button is very neat. Good Job!

The amount of polish on this game is absolutely insane! The art looks incredible, and everything is super well designed and thought out. The way this game features a puzzle aspect through the trap laying is quite cool, though I don't know how much different trap configurations altered gameplay.

The tutorial is easily the most impressive part of the game though, as not a single other tutorial level in the jam (that I have tried at least) has been so cohesive and well designed. By the end of the tutorial I felt like I could play the game for hours and never get confused, even with all of the complex mechanics in the game.

With some form of level system, I could easily see this being a fully fledged game that you could charge at least a couple dollars for, seeing how polished and professional it is. This has to be one of the most well thought out and designed games in the whole jam, so hats off to you!

Anyways, I just dropped a follow on your account to see what you make in the future; incredible job on the jam submission!

Easily the most polished game in the jam. Very professional , and groovy music, just, great job. I also must praise the detailed tutorial because I'm sure it was a lot of work, and it is really necessary for gameplay this complex.

The gameplay was more hit or miss with me, mainly due to three factors:

1. I didn't feel there was much of a reason for me to select one trap configuration over another, so it felt kind of  arbitrary.

2. I feel having direct control over the trap switching would be more enjoyable. There were times an enemy would require me to go over the lever to lay a bubble, as an enemy was very slowly going through the trap area.

3. Gameplay loop felt quite slow (personal preference), with not enough variation or difficulty to keep it spicy.

Anyways, I followed you to check out your other games sometime. : )

Really great looking game! The game look fun and I like the way that the tutorials can teach me all of the basic!

Sadly I couldn't play the endless mode but I hope you're keep working on this project!

Developer

May I ask why you couldn't play the endless mode? There are new mechanics and stuff within the endless mode.
Did you run into an error?

Really enjoyable concept, the traps in gameplay really made things more interesting. The tutorial was really in depth and perfectly explained everything important, so great job there!

The game looked absolutely fantastic, and the music is nice. The main thing its missing is some nice sfx to give that feedback.

Overall a really polished, fun game!

Thank you for taking the time to play my game, im really happy the tutorial helped explained the game, the traps really come into play in endless mode where it can get quite chaotic! :D

Really sorry I didn't include SFX, I really wanted to but ran out of time, I managed to fit in so much but still you are right the SFX would of been great feedback when you dont have time to look at everything! :)

Very unique gameplay. Seems a little complicated, but the tutorial was easy to follow, so it was no problem.

Thank you. I had taken multiple passes trying to illustrate how to play the game, sadly the tutorial ate so much time of the jam that I couldn't add more to the endless mode. Thank you for playing, glad the tutorial was needed and wasn't wasted time implementing :)

I bow down to your level of polish.

Developer

Thank you so much, polish is my thing and my curse since it takes so much time and usually eats into the creative process of adding more content or balancing mechanics.
