Nice and short game, but I think the enemy was not dangerous enough

Great music, cool idea! The text was a bit hard to read. Otherwise really great!

Really enjoyed the music on this one, and was an opportunity for me to exercise my speed clicking.

Would recommend either remapping the continue key, or setting the game to start in full screen from your itch page, cause space caused the screen the scroll down for me (though to be fair, that could be a problem on my part).

Had good fun with this. Fine work, and good luck! :D

That was fun! Would like to see more levels. Oh, and coins that you can actually pick up on the win screen

Developer

Yeah, I'll definitely try to push myself to do more levels in the future. You should be able to "pick up" the win coins by mousing over them.

Cool little game, the sounds were satisfying and the music was amazing. I see a lot of potential for something interesting.

Keep it up!

Fun and challenging!  The chiptune sounds really fit the cat vibe too xD  Great work! :D

Nice Game. I love the BGM and SFX. The enemies are really aggressive and a good challenge.

No More Boxes! It's an experience that felt very different to all the other entries. It's a unique concept that I think was very well explored. I feel there could be more features to keep this more of an engaging experience. But I still feel the Developer was bold enough to keep it simplistic. It actually works very well to the Developer's advantage of keeping it simplistic. The art is 8x8, it's not bad at all. The sound effects were nicely implemented. The music is also very upbeat but I feel this music does not match the gameplay speed at all. I feel the Developer could've made this much more interesting if instead clicking for the cat to move was replaced with a sling-short gameplay mechanic. Having to strategically slide your cat into boxes while the other cat could catch up to you. The difficulty never seemed to change. More boxes doesn't count as making it more difficult.

Overall, I feel SketchyJessie did a great attempt at making something different! It's a great game and I do recommend you try it out! Great work, SketchyJessie! :D

Quite a fun game! I liked the movement mechanics but it was made harder to play cause of my trackpad, so I had slower and less accurate movement. Not a problem with the game itself but with my hardware. The art, sound FX, and music blended really nicely, and the game as a whole is well made!

Really fun little game, simple easy to pickup and play but also pretty simple but that doesn't have to be a bad thing, only real problem with the game is that the baddy cats stop for a bit when you dash (think its a dash at least) so if you tap quick enough you can move and keep them more or less frozzen one easy fix would be some sort of cooldown and would be kinda cool to see the cats keep there velocity a bit more and bounce off the walls like a game of pond (could also make them bounce off the boxes) but just an idea, there is a lot you can do with this simple idea actually, kind of tempted to do my own interpretation of the mechanic. :P
