Great concept, it looks amazing, sounds great and just feels really cool to play. I think there are a few things that could be improved like having a Key action to switch bewteen cats. Another thing that I noticed is that the dead cat can push blocks outside the screen. I am not sure if that was intended :)

But who cares, here are your 5*

This is conceptually awesome, and aside from a performance bug with the lasers, really well put together. The music and effects are well chosen, and the controls feel good.

Great work, and good luck! :D

A very cool gaming concept! I liked the graphics and sound. I had very little FPS in the game. It is unpleasant to play when the character barely moves. But the project turned out to be very good! Good luck making games!

Paradoxicat has such a great concept. It's just a real shame that the Developer doesn't take this concept a few steps further. The FPS once again drops with lasers. It's a shame because I had mentioned this in my previous comment before the voting stage. I'm sure the Developer tried their best to fix it but possibly had no time. It's true that when the lasers are blocked, the performance does improve. The level design really needed to be upgraded. It just didn't feel enjoyable. Some levels felt too similar and I felt the lasers weren't introduced very well. It was great to see some originality with the lasers being connected to a pushable platform. I feel this game could've done a lot better if the blue cat was set on a timer to make it more challenging. It just seemed too easy. However, I do appreciate that the developer fixed the exploit I had found previously. Honestly, I had to admit that it's a lot better now!

Overall, BenHen_26 has made a great game that has true potential. It's just a real shame that this potential has not been discovered by the developer yet. Great work! :D

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely agree that the game needs a lot of work as it is. I had to rush a lot of the level design because I spent most of my time making the general mechanics work (not too well in the lasers case). It’s definitely something I want to flesh out more at some point because I agree that the idea has a lot of potential that I wasn’t able to tap into during a 3 day game jam. I’ll most likely fix the game up and expand on it with new mechanics and completely different levels once the jam is finished since it is still something I want to work on. I definitely made the game more with the focus of showing off a fun idea that I came up with than making a challenging puzzle game. I feel as a whole that it’s more a proof of concept than a complete game, but that’s the way it goes for some game jams I suppose.

I enjoyed the concept very much! There was a problem with the FPS on the level with lasers though, when I blocked the lasers completely it would run fine but otherwise it would run super slow.

The concept is really interesting! But i would've have made the second cat move as the first to make puzzles more interesting!

Congratulations is really fun!

The concept and execution is really fun and interesting. Things do get a bit boring because the levels aren't very different from each other aesthetically  and the mechanics are developed pretty slowly but overall a really fun game.

That’s totally valid, I would have added more mechanics and brought them out faster if I had more time but I unfortunately had to spend a lot of time on getting the two sides of the screen to mirror each other because I’m fairly new to game development and I’ve never attempted something like that before. Perhaps I’ll try to build a bigger game around the same mechanics when I have more time and experience. Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad you still enjoyed it!

Really nice concept, and interesting puzzles and game mechanics! I like how you used the paradox of Schrodinger's cat to make something like this!

Thanks!
