Great game! I love music and sounds here! And art is super simple but look great. I lost on wave 9. I want to see how much ammo do I have before reloading and posibility to reload by myself.

Developer

For this version I tried to keep it as simple as possible, but if I update it I have some ideas. Thanks!

Good game, but it needs to be balanced. I'm losing even with perfect aim and game play stuff.

The reload needs a indicater and MORE JUICE

Developer

How many times did you play it? And in what round are you losing? thankss

Submitted

2-3 times and to wave 7-9, I think?

I liked that the UI is destructible, that was one of the ideas I considered for the limitation too! Also nice color scheme!

Good game, nice sounds. I like the art and is great that volume cell spawns again. I think if the cell could move horizontally with that slime/sticky effect could be interesting. Maybe the progression could be a bit faster and more chaotic, just in my opinion. Overall, it is a great submission. Congrats!

Developer

I don't know if I will conitinue with the game, but an idea was to add evolution progress to the cell like movement or other effects. Thankss

It was very fun :) I think the reload is a little annoying, and unnecessary. Drop that and this game is a nice little arcade shooter :D

Developer

Tyy for the feedback, could you write me a bit more about the reload? Why did you feel it unnecessary?

Submitted

Mainly just that it's slow. Sometimes you just lose because you had to reload. The enemies feel like enough of a threat where you don't need that extra second of downtime.

Simple, fun, and a solid gameplay loop! Very cool.

The most beautiful game in this jam so far! The jigglyness of the player character and the buttons is so satisfying! Very polished looking! I went for fire rate and reload upgrades all the way.

Developer

Thanks so much!!

I love the volume button, really incorporating the limitation! Nice art too, did you do that with a pixel screen shader? I've never tried art like that

Developer

Is the effect using the pixel perfect camera with 2D URP (Unity) with a small canvas 320 x 180 and upscaling render

Submitted (1 edit)

awesome thank you! I'll have to try that out it looks really cool
