Man, one of the best feedbacks I've recieved, super detailed. Can I add you for next playtest sessions? In the other hand I would like to know:
- What did you find confusing about the GUI?
- Did you enjoy the core about combine tiles? Were you satisfied with the combinations you managed to make?
- What bored you the most?
- And do you like the concept? Did you find it somewhat different within the genre?
Thanks a lot for your time 😊, I would like to receive feedback from you again.
I've watched the video and y, I've some bugs with the tutorial (IDs from the json not found) and map generation will try to fix it asap.
Hello Hythrain! First, this is more than I could expect from a review so thanks your very very much.
I'm currently trying to make the game in general more easy to understand and balancing the combat because is true that in the current version is so common to get a hard enemy at first and lose the Run.
About the grammatical errors, yes english is not my first language (is Spanish) but is not an excuse and I will correct it.
About the combat and magic attacks, I have to test more all the abilities to balance it better. It's hard because books Tile can overpower the player too fast.
I have been adding for the next update, an improve to the tutorial with videos gif and QOL for the combat that pause the game at start or when the player hover enemies or abilities. Also content update and fixed bugs.
In resume the game as you can see and play is still too inconsistent and the only thing I can say is that I will do the best I can.
About the help I would gladly accept, but I am not in a position to pay someone right now, so it is not something I can ask of you.
Thanks again for seeing something special in my game!
Thanks a lot for taking your time for the comment feedback. I'm preparing a new patch focus on enemies and combat balance, because if true that if the player don't get a weapon before combat or a enemy level 1 (the first level of enemies are 0) appears is fuccked.
About the screen size I just tested in 16:9 (that's my bad). Would it be a problem if, in a future update, I ask for your help in testing this?
And in general yes, I've recieved feedback that the game can be a little complicate or confuse at early, so maybe need to improve on that part too.
Thanks again!
Hello Squigalug! First feedback I get thanks you!
I want to say that I really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a detailed summary. I'm going to take note of everything, especially the tutorial part.
Also, you can rotate the individual sections of the map like a Rubik's cube (although this may not be explained very well). First, you must select the axis with the centre button and use the arrows to rotate the selected axis +90 or -90 degrees. This allows you to create combinations with the tiles.
Thanks again, I'm going to keep polishing this part as much as I can, since the playtest is mainly to find out how players see the gameplay loop.
