  • While rubix cubes aren't my specialty, and this took me a bit of time to comprehend the information given before playing, but, I found myself honestly enjoying what was put together. From the artistic approach to the music (and audio settings as a plus for me), to the incorporation of the themes in the overall gameplay, everything felt good during my time playing. I enjoyed being able to figure out how certain blocks worked, especially when you eventually had to enter combat, as it almost felt that you had to fully succeed at rubix cube to get the best outcomes when entering combat or just before a fight began. I definitely liked how shadow--elemental effects and alchemy--transformation and combination (my interpretations after playing), stood out. Overall, really good stuff put together, as I'd like to play more. One thing to add, if possible, maybe another chosen font so you don't have to just use plain text as the alternative? Either way, keep up the good work!
  • The art style and music were really cool and evoked the nostalgia feeling of older 2d games. I really liked that, and loved the Rubik's cube mechanic. It was unique and definitely felt polished. I think changing the font would be a huge improvement. It was difficult to read the text, so I wasn't able to fully understand how to play. While the pixely font is cool, it's not really practical, especially for instructions or a tutorial. I think more readable text will go a long way, especially since the rest of the game mechanics feel really smooth and well thought. It's difficult to really assess them, however, without readable instructions.

Very interesting mechanic to build a dungeon with a rubiks cube, but sadly I soft locked on day 2 after I ran out of stamina and suddenly dealt 0 damage to the enemy, which also dealt 0 damage because I found some armor right before the fight.

Wow I absolutely love the pixel art and low poly models, the character looks great and the UI style matches so well.

I gotta be honest though even after reading the tutorial I didn't understand the game at all. And when I started rotating the parts (which was extremely cool btw) I had no idea what I was doing. The battles were also super slow and I was just kinda sitting there waiting for something to do.

I feel like if I could get a better grasp of the game I could go further than I did but with the super slow combat I'm not really eager to jump back into it.

It's a fantastically unique concept and design though and I super vibe with the art.

Thanks for trying it out and for the honest comments. I want to make a good looping game, I have some ideas to implement and some ideas to improve the interactions. About tutorial yes, it needs some changes in general.
