Hi thanks for the feedback! Yes, I recorded the SFX and the music myself.

In terms of game design I focused on keeping the idea as simple as possible so I could spend more time polishing and adding game juice. I did want to add a bunch more stuff, but ey you can only do so much completely by yourself in 3 days. 😅

Thank u! Yes that is my own voice with some bit crushing effects

Love this game!

Great concept and execution! I played for a good while. I think I almost broke the game.

My laptop smells burnt now.

How long did you play? I haven't heard of anybody getting past 100 pts yet. Spamming usually gets you stuck in the corners.

Yes, I did all the "voice acting" with my phone. Just sat in my chair and did a bunch of weird noises and shouting. My neighbours must love me.

Thank you v much! I made the sound effects myself with my phone and bitcrushed them in FL studio. 😁

Thank you v much! Picking a restrictive color palette makes it very easy to make a consistent aesthetic. This is also my first game where I made all of the sound effects and music myself - I'm very happy with the result ^^

Thank you very much! That was one of my underlying goals this jam - to put more effort into polish and game feel than the underlying systems for once. I'm happy with the result!

Ayo?? Nah jk. Thank you very much! I did decide to put some extra time into the thumbnail this time around - it's the best way to get people to click your game.

Thank you very much! ❤️

The "plot twist" of the game got me laughing out loud.

Great work!

What? An Alarm? Absolute cinema

Loooved the game! The controls feel super nice. Also I'm a sucker for a dnb soundtrack!

V nice art style! The controls felt weird at first but I got the hang of it.

Hand down the BEST game in this jam that I've played so far!

Amazing way of doing a one-button game!!

Extremely polished! Did you make the music too?

Very cool concept and I like the lite strategy vibe to it!

Hand dead

The most beautiful game in this jam so far! The jigglyness of the player character and the buttons is so satisfying! Very polished looking! I went for fire rate and reload upgrades all the way.

Cool concept! Did level 2 repeat after level 3 or is it just me?

Creepy atmosphere, love it! Did get stuck a couple of times - had to do the classic point and click thing of combining every item with every other interaction in case there was something I missed. All in all enjoyed it!

This is an amazing concept! Reminds me of flood mode in Garry's mod! I wish I got to play with the raft building more, but the difficulty ramped up pretty quick! Still tho, this is probably the most creative concept I've seen in this jam. Keep up the great work!!

The thumbnail is absolute gold

Love the combo of basically fruit ninja gameplay with a post-apocalyptic-like narrative like this!

Love the chaotic vibe! I think I broke the game. Got a score of 388 and no more enemies showed up. Had a great time tho!

The graphics are soo cute, and the CRT shader does sell the vibe of the game really well.

I also love the music and the sound design. Nice use of the super mario world sound effects in there ;)

Loove the art and music! Love the variation in enemies as well!

Ouufff, some runs do be like that.

Hahaha I KNEW it was only a matter of time before somebody tried!

Holyyy 10 helmets? I did get 4 at most in a run myself. I guess I'm never as lucky with the shops. I had already nerfed the helmets once, I should have nerfed the helmets again. 🔨

Big thanksies! ✨

Thank youu! Glad not everyone found the voice as grating as I did towards the end. 😂😅

Some people live for that next biscuit high... 🍪

Thank youu! Glad you liked it!!

Thank you very muuuch! ✨

Btw, I followed you back! I read your about-section. I'm don't have a dev background, but I find what you describe very relatable. Rediscovering the reasons we do what we do - I'm feeling the same thing. I think you put it into words really well ✨

Thank you so much! ❤️

Thank you for the feedback!

100% agree. I was aware of the bet exploits before submitting, but I didn't have time to fix it :c

Yes, it's fixed now! I'll try it again later and leave a review! 😁

No worries, I think literally all jam gamedevs underestimates the difficulty of their own game at least once! I've done it multiple times 😅

The art is STUNNING!!
