I like the mechanic of having to balance getting hit or dodging and the art is also pretty good. Good job!

I love the Pixel Style!

Really neat concept. I managed to get through to the end. I like that it required a little bit of strategy to find a balance between taking enough hits to level up, but no so much that you die.

Thanks 😊

Nice concept and pretty fun, some visual effects for the hits would really help imo

Great concept of keeping your health in flux, and the game has a really nice art style, colors are used super well. One criticism I have is you can just run enemies around in a circle forever. If you had the player and enemies become more unpredictable with movement I think it would get a lot more fun.

Developer

thanks, I wanted to add more enemies with different behaviors to make it more difficult/fun but lacked the time

I enjoyed playing this game. The risk versus reward type playstyle definitely intrigued me. It lead to me trying to calculate how much damage I would take at a time, to get the next upgrade without dying. This playstyle was very incorporated with the limitation. The art style was very good I loved the shop keeper, the enemies, and the guns. This is just my opinion but I really like games where the walking or running animations are small squash and stretches, and seeing this game had that made me happy.

I would say for some reason I couldn't make the connection of space/action to going to the next stage for about a minute I don't know why I didn't but its my only criticism for this game.

Overall good game!

Thank you, I also like that type of animations, I made it that way because I right that code in less time that it would've been if I drew the animations.

Fun concept, bit hard to judge how many shots you can take before youll get the upgrade/you die in the game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, perhaps it would be better y I also drew the numbers of hp and XP points

Stumbled across a bug !! I think When I launch the game the background is all white and when I shoot the gun I don’t see the projectile :O Also the enemies dont seem to spawn :OO

Developer

That's a lot of things, I know how to fix the background thing, thanks for sharing

Sorry for the chaotic bug bounty return

Developer

Don't apologize, the game would still be broken if it weren't for you, I uploaded some fixes, let me know if it works now, also, is normal to not see the bullets in the shop

Submitted

oh shoot we can fix the game WHILE submissions are open ??? Well Im going full debug mode :O
