Thanks alot!

(1 edit)

I'm thinking about it, thank you btw the oli

Love the Saac. Its my favorite game and I've always wanted to make an Isaac like game so much.

Thanks love to see someone notice the small things I added in the pages! Thank you very much.

That is good feedback because having snow piles was in the original "blueprint" but it didn't make the cut, so seeing someone who would wants this tells me for the next time I make a game really think about each thing I do and don't add.

Thank you so much, I really wanted to make a tiny planet style item that was *bad* so it was interesting but not good. and had potential to be good in specific builds

Thanks, i did so. Your game was really good incorporating the theme and prerequisite very well, I was a noob but I carried on and beat the game!

I'm glad that someone who played my game thinks it is well balanced, I was worried about that. I'm EXTATIC that it took a couple tries to beat it because that was my aim for the game (Unintended pun), in the same way The binding of Isaac is really difficult in like the first 200 hours (for me, I sucked then) I wanted to compress that down into a game that takes a couple try's to get the hang of.  Thank you very much for finishing and playing!

I've never expanded my game jam games but after this one I'm thinking about it. I feel I can make a better game than this so I'm not sure if I would turn this into a full game. But maybe my next game jam. Yes its heavily inspired by The binding of Isaac. Thank you very much for the review I appreciate it.

I absolutely adore the camera style you used in this game (Camera doesn't follow character, it moves into rooms), I love it. I also like how it slightly moves towards the player it feels great. The game gives a slight Undertale vibe. The game is simple but I found it really fun. The theme is used well and I loved the pushing mechanic. I found the faces on the kids in the end cutscene funny. I made a snow man without the cutscene as well:

Good Game!

The games visuals and audio were really good and seemed very well executed. The controls in this game caught me off guard at first because they feel quite different to your normal platformer, but I really liked it the more I continued to play and I believe it really encapsulates this game into its own style that you cant get somewhere else. Great game

This game was really well executed and it used the prerequisite amazingly. The map layout was really well designed in a way that dust2 (counterstrike map) is a perfectly* balanced map with the two teams, this game has a map layout that feels perfectly* balanced with moving between the "objectives". On my first run I didn't realize you could pickup more than 1 wood, my second I learnt that and started to get a hang of the mechanics, and my third I would say in my book I did pretty good I got 793 seconds. This game is really good

This games presentation is unbelievable. The game uses the theme good and perfectly incorporates the prerequisite into the gameplay and story/concept. This games gameplay is great and the visuals & sounds are astonishing.

This game was really really interesting. I wouldn't say it fits the theme perfectly but it was fun. The opening was very well done and I am surprised this game was made in 2 days, because there were lots of small details that I would assume took a majority of the time to create. These details created a somehow believable environment that had an interesting personality. I'm not sure if there is an end because I played for 40~ mins and I just kept growing my army and upgrading my blue guy so I stopped my self. Good Game

The style of this game is so amazingly executed. Its a shame that audio couldn't be added in time. My first time playing I mainly just got the shovel upgrades and didn't see the potential of the workers. I thought the game was pretty good but on my second play through when I chose to go "all in" on the workers I realized how great this game is. The game itself looks amazing and then it incorporates the theme perfectly into this clicker game which surprised me. The workers being constantly overworked in the winter's blizzard in turn get tired and have you the player go and get them to keep working in turn also making the player constantly overworked and it just ties in perfectly, I loved crafting my own formation of workers and optimally harvesting the snow. The size of the terrain getting bigger over time has me changing my formation and adds more gameplay. This is an amazing game jam submission

I love these visuals, I think it looks really cool (The player reminds me of something similar to Nubby's number factory, it doesn't look copied it has its own uniqueness). The sounds are great and very professional. I enjoyed the game it was fun but I wish there was more bumpy terrain because that was what really hooked me to play keep playing again (small "bunny hops" between bump to bump), skiing & jumping off the mountain were also fun.

I didn't make a game in time but I did make a song (very animal crossing inspired):

use it if you wish!

I figured out in a way that I could do it! I messed around with random things and figured out making this number really big removes the blur. (This image has the font I'm using)

Thank you very much for commenting but I am extremely unfamiliar with shaders in unity and I have no clue how to setup a quantisation shader. I looked around on the internet and couldn't find anything that I would know to be useful (I'm gonna keep looking). Thank you again tho.

Because technically there is more than one colour on screen but I don't know how to remove this. If someone does know how to fix this (in unity) please comment

I really liked the art style and sound effects, and I loved the cutscenes they were very well made.

For people playing this game keep in mind I ran out of time and that lead to a bug where when you die it doesn't show the good and bad things you did during your playthrough.

I enjoyed playing this game. The risk versus reward type playstyle definitely intrigued me. It lead to me trying to calculate how much damage I would take at a time, to get the next upgrade without dying. This playstyle was very incorporated with the limitation. The art style was very good I loved the shop keeper, the enemies, and the guns. This is just my opinion but I really like games where the walking or running animations are small squash and stretches, and seeing this game had that made me happy.

I would say for some reason I couldn't make the connection of space/action to going to the next stage for about a minute I don't know why I didn't but its my only criticism for this game.

Overall good game!

The main menu was really well made just have to mention it. I really enjoy games where you can get really broken builds or just statistics in general so this game was definitely very fun to play for me. I was going to say you should be able to level up without a click but I one realised you could save soul shards, and two I found it really fun to just spam the level ups and have one medium amount of "oo what should I spend everything on" (every now and then) rather than lots of small ones.
One small criticism was that the go back to main menu button didn't have an are you sure section as it was placed right next to the next life button, only saying this because I miss clicked on it and I can understand why something like that wouldn't be added due to the jams time limit.

I really liked the art style and animations of the character, and the different effects given from the different style of deaths. Although I would have liked to rotate the camera, I think that could play into not knowing where the mouse trap is. just my personal opinion.

I gave the game a second playthrough and I would just like to add I enjoyed seeing how fast I could do all the different tasks, just an unrelated thing.

Cool! and thanks

Thank you

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback, and the comment

I love this concept/idea, I found it really cool to play with the "shadow" character having your movements mimicked.

thanks for the feed back

Thank you

My scratch project was lagging and I saved it then refreshed the page AND IT WASNT IN MY STUFF FOLDER bruh.

(:

(:

Really fun, I think it would be better if you swap the move and shoot controls it feels more natural to fire with left click but that could just be me. Good game (:

Hi I can't upload my game to the jam is anyone having the same problem and can someone help please.
