Use of the limitation
In this game, in order to progress, you have to brew flasks. While succeeding a brew triggers an evolution (a different attack pattern), failing a brew is vital to progress because it boosts the player's stats, such as attack and defense. Otherwise, the enemies get too overwhelming.

Very nice pixel art and general vibe! I would have liked something more to do but that's just personal preference. Nice work!

Quite interesting game! I really like the fact that all the art was done during the jam! It's really gorgeous.
I think the paladin has a really weird attack, I intuitively thought it should be rotating around the middle? but maybe thats just a convention and this game is just refreshing the the mechanics a bit :P(since I found that it was more effective than rotating around the center)
I like trickster the most due to the fact that they can slow the enemies down before they reach you, not to say it also gives them knockback! So if I stack up atk speed, technically no enemies can get close :P (sadly I cant get to that point since its really hard for me)

Good game overall! The choices are quite limited but I suppose thats just cause its 72 hours :P Good job

Yea the paladin's attack is a bit off, ideally I should fix its spiral logic. Some asset come my own library (such as the paladin), while some other asset (such as the UI, rats, icons) was made in the last day. Some stuff is a bit whacky but I've drew almost everything in 32x32 so it should feel alright.

Thanks a lot for playing!

Super cool art and gameplay! I love the cool, vibrant palette and the general vibe. It's very well made :)

Thanks so much!

Cool game with beautiful pixel art, but the enemies intensify too fast. On stage 6 an elite mouse gnawed me from 100 to 0 health. The classes are cool, I liked the trickster the most. Record 3650 points (skill issue)

Thanks! Ahah yea the balance is a bit whacky at the moment: I playtested a lot but fine tuning balance takes a lot of time.

Great game! I like the art style so much, and the game looks really polished too, nice job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the art style <3

Really fun! Would love to see a bit more variety in the level design and some more info on the enemies so we can see health bars going down!

Developer(+1)

Absolutely! I've thought of a few extra stage variants like a merchant area. UI could get some features like the enemy health bars, and I was thinking of showing the trinkets/treasures as well.
Thanks for the feedback!

Interesting concept and great use of the limitation.

Developer

Thanks so much, I reworked around the limitation a couple of times hopefully to achieve a good result with it
