I would like you to know that while me and the other programmer were on call, we laughed about it for a good 10% of the time and considered getting speg tshirts.

Thank you for playing!

for everyone who’s games I didn’t get to rating, I’ll still play them and leave some feedback! You are all super awesomesauce for playing our game 😎

Great music and art! I like old NES feel of the menus. Could definitely see the idea getting expanded upon with more types of eels and such. Cool game!

Love the old coolmath games vibe from the graphics! The controls were a bit difficult but the gameplay is very interesting!

Glad you liked it! Also that meme is peak, thank you for making my day.

Love the color palette and graphics and the challenge!  Some of the effects could definitely use some polish, but it has a lot of promise and the general game loop was fun!

WOW! Loved the visuals and fast gameplay. Some of the sections felt a bit unforgiving, and in the upside down section on level 3, the bald guy completely covers the character (so you can't see what you're doing), but overall a great game! Super challenging!

Awesome game! The mechanic is really unique and it definitely keeps you on your feet!

Couldn't make it to the end with the attack rate of the enemy village, but I liked the concept alot. Could definitely see how it could branch with more complex gameplay and interactions.

Spooky atmosphere! Love how the art and music come together!

Extremely well put together and very compelling! Had some issues with the combining mechanic and could not find the compartment in the wall, but overall very well made!

Awesome concept and design! The rapid fire situations definitely up the challenge. Great work!

Thank you so much!

If you want to see more music of that sort, check out our composer's soundcloud! https://soundcloud.com/giganticlobster

Thank you! If we make anymore, I'll be sure to ping you :P

Thanks for letting me know about the bugs! Glad you liked the idea

Thank you so much!

As of when you played the game, the second phase was purely visual :) I'm currently changing it so that bullets deal double damage during the second phase. Thank you for playing!

Thanks for letting me know about the exploits! Glad you had fun!

Controls were a bit hard to get used to, but it was a fun play! I found the blue character to be a bit lacking in terms of abilities, but all the others filled their niche very well!

Thank you! Glad you like the bullet hell sections, I'm a big fan of the genre as well. Props to glubalicious for the art!

Exactly what the title says! If I see any comments, I'll try to play your game and leave some feedback! Can't wait to see all the cool stuff y'all made :D

Awesome game! Masterfully designed and I could very easily figure out where I was going. Other's mentioned issues with the screen, which I also had. It didn't impact the gameplay too much but it's definitely worth noticing!

The levels weren't too hard and it was very satisfying to complete. Would definitely play a full version!

The art was absolutely gorgeous and the gameplay really brings me back! In some of the later levels, it was a bit difficult to differentiate between tiles the players could stand on and tiles they couldn't, but other than that, super fun game! Galaxy Sword FTW!

Cute!

Gameplay was unclear and would greatly benefit from a tutorial. Loved the hexes, reminded me of Catan. The variation in stats and deaths was also cool.

Reminds me of the dinosaur game. Love the animations and transitions.

Cool prototype! Love the concept of having to crash in order to win. It could definitely use some more variety, but the idea is there. The moose made the game very difficult to play as it would get stuck on the front of the car and prevent it from moving, but other than that, the controls seemed pretty solid.

The animations on the alien we're awesome! Fun gameplay and overall great vibe. Some of the scream audios distracted from the game for me (specifically the very loud high pitched one.

Super cool artwork!

Super unique idea. It's interesting playing a game where the main goal is to die. The player AI can be a bit janky, but what game jam game isn't a little scuffed? Would be interested to see this concept explored upon. Great work!

Thanks! I had a fun time thinking of it :)

Thank you!

Thanks! That definitely sounds like a good idea- maybe a counter of how many cells you have as well. Thanks for the feedback :3

Absolutely WOW! Level 3 was the hardest for me (did not realize you could jump during flight!). This makes for an awesome puzzle game and the concept is very cool. Definitely keep me posted if you make more :D

Wow! Love the colorful style, reminds me of old nintendo games. The difficulty really ramped up there! Almost reminds me of a reverse slither.io. Super cool and awesome!

Loved the art for the patrons and the silly names for the food! Gameplay was very intuitive and I like how you had to fill out the legend for yourself. Definitely craving some quaglar with coobers rn...

Super cool pixel art and creative use of emojis as icons! Gameplay started to get repetitive in the late game. I imagine it would benefit from making some of the buffs faster to collect (especially the movespeed one). Regardless, it was one of the cooler games I've seen this jam. Nice work!
