Great job! Interesting FP experience. Trippy with so much going on around you. Takes a bit to get used to the thrust and forward pushes but overall neat design and game.

Thanks! Yeah there's a lot going all with all the projectiles. I had to create a destroying barrier in the distance so they didn't just keep generating forever and kill the framerate too. lol

this was pretty fun! i think i did beat it (is the last level the super dense one that’s really really dark?) but i didn’t get a cutscene it just took me back to the title screen. i found myself just using the jetpack and almost never boosting except towards the end once i’d collected enough chips. the music was a little repetitive, though i loved the janky sound design (genuinely). more game jam games should do voiceovers – we have programmer art, why not programmer voice acting?

Thanks for the feedback! Interesting so you didn't get the scene where it has dialog about turning on NERDS and then you see all the enemies blowup? Oh, I think I know what happened... I think it didn't actual compile that level so it just defaulted back to the main menu. I'll have to see if I can fix that.

Yeah I just checked and it's because I didn't include it with the compile. I will post a video on YouTube just for you since you earned it! Haha. Making a new package to fix that issue. You're brave to push all the way through it!

I would definitely win the category of most balls in a game.

Please let me know if anyone actually finishes this game. It would be a real test of endurance because it gets pretty difficult/is probably not super fair later. You do get a cool cutscene at the end. Haha.

Its a good game with some nice elements, like limited jet fuel or more than just enough chips to make it to the next level. I like the addition of a voice, which really adds to the experience and makes one much more immersed. Overall I think its a nice game and enjoyed playing it.

Thanks for the comment! I think I should have made the levels shorter, and probably fewer levels because nobody will actually finish this game. lol

Really cool game. The controls do feel pretty floaty. Also text in the center of the screen is not really nice. Move it somewhere else.

Yeah, it's not ideal. Most of the other games just had screens before the actual combat started, whereas mine if was in the middle before the floor exploded. If I was doing it again, I would probably move the text to the bottom middle, or simply have screens before you have control to host the explanations.
