the biggest issue with this game is that while you the player are moved upon death, the cursor does not move to match your position, and moving outside of the player instantly freezes your movement. had many, many frustrating deaths because the player’s position didn’t match my cursor’s position

That's strange, you saw your cursor when playing ? If yes, that mean you didn't click on the game (or your browser don't permit us to control your cursor maybe) because we lock the cursor in the center of the screen and keep it invisible

certainly had to have clicked in the game window to have beaten it. but this game did not, to my recollection, bring up the notification that my mouse pointer had been captured. it was generally invisible though, which made it all the more unpredictable when i was going to go out of the window and die

Perfect. Also best music ever.

It was a real challenge and I honorably made it to the level with the ship riddle and at this point something went wrong(?) and when I arrived at the right place the bar of the day stopped filling up at all, maybe it was a planned end? Anyway the game is fun and I enjoyed going through the next level. It would be great if the tiles had different shading to make it easier to navigate, but it seems easier is not about this game :)

Interresting, you got a bug that I never meet before :o this is not the ending (but the last true level, don't worry)

It's really good game. Dialogs with npc was hilarious.

But i had i bug that sometimes I was teleporting to a random tile when i was moving my mouse and it was a bit frustating.

But in overall i like style and concept of game.

Really good game for 3 days, i rage quit but that means its really good, like the strange view of the game

This game is very enjoyably strange, and surprisingly large for a game jam. You did a really good job tutorializing stuff that normally would take paragraphs to explain just by letting the player experiment. My only complaint is that I think the limitation could have been used a little better.

This game has strong early flash game vibes. But sadly, I couldn't finish it because I couldn't pass the level with the rockets and just became intensely annoyed by the "boom" hitbox. Though, it's a good and quirky game nonetheless.

mouse movement felt very clunky and sometimes would glitch the character a random distance, however it was still an interesting play and I enjoyed the crayon like art style, good job!

This game is kind of OUT THERE. It's quirky - but in a good way. To be honest, it's kind of hard for me to wrap my head around this game - it's a little confusing. I will say it presents itself well, but I feel like it didn't really utilize the limitation in its design. Overall, I liked it!
