Good ol platformer, controls feel good and the art is very nice, but the boss was a bit underwhelming. Maybe if it had like multiple parts and each hit destroyed a part at a time would have given as time to fight it.

Wow, that was a good idea. Thank you! I really appreciate that! :D

Loved this adorable game! It made me laugh when I killed the boss with 1 hit. I really enjoyed playing it, just wish there had been more levels. Great job!

When there's a boss fight but the limitation says everything dies in one hit. Lol, that was really funny how the music was so tense but then the boss dies in one hit. I love the game art. I think it's nice and simple. Would've been a lot nicer if everything is just made of pixel art. The bullet and the death particle effect are kinds of messing up the whole pixel art vibe.

For the controls, you mapped it really weirdly. I think you should just use 'W' for jumping, then map another key like 'J' or a left mouse click for shooting. Sometimes you really just gotta think about common map inputs like WASD is commonly used for moving around and stuff. People are used to those inputs and when you change that balance, it kinda messes up with their mind, sorta. Like when I was playing, I think 'W' was for jumping even though the game instructed me that it's supposed to be for shooting. Anyways, that's just my piece of advice. Overall, you have a good game at hand. Well done finishing a game!

Nice, short game. I like the art style and the one shot kill on the boss was great with the epic background music.

Developer

Thank you! Those arts are downloaded from here https://www.kenney.nl/assets. And the music is here https://opengameart.org/content/demon-lord

I found it hilarious when the boss music started for a second, I reacted instantly and one shot the boss. :d Such a funny moment, it made the game worth it by itself. Good job!

A cute little game. At first I thought it was strange that there was no music but when the epic music played when the final boss appeared I realized that the previous silence made the boss music even better

Fun little game, the end of the level with such a twist is a clever use of limitation :)
