Neat game! I included it in my Mini Jam 107 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
This is such a beautiful game. I enjoyed the mood evoked by the music, art, and general gameplay -- very relaxing. I unfortunately couldn't manage to explore too much of it due to some problems that I assume are bugs (e.g. some stars taking me into the middle of space and then when I release them, shooting me into the void until I die and get reborn on the starting planet).
I also had some trouble reaching the stars and seemingly random intervals; my jump height seemed to vary over time, but I could never quite figure out what made it change.
Anyway, it's a lovely experience, even with that.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I had the same issue with jump strength, it’s something I’ll have to go in and adjust to make consistent. Some stars do lead to nowhere, I definitely see how it’s confusing / misleading!
Hi Nicole,
You made a really cool game! The atmosphere of the game is amazing and relaxing.
I was having a lot of difficulties trying to stick to the stars but then I understood, I was holding the jump button thinking that I would jump higher, because of that when I stuck to the star I left instantly, if anyone else is having this problem, just press the jump button instead of holding it :)
It was a very pleasant experience and the game is very beautiful, amazing work!
Hey, thank you!! I’ve gotten that feedback a bit surrounding getting off the planet, so it could be really good to have additional direction about that!
this had a really cool atmospheric and introspective vibe to it. The movement controlled well and was a cool way to use gravity too. Also, really liked how the story was told -really nice job on this! :D
Thanks :) that’s really nice!! I’m glad you enjoyed it
You built this yourself!? That's so impressive!
I found myself hooked on getting more relaxing star speek. First time I got to another planet it blew my mind-- it's such a nicely detailed little world, it goes so deep!
Ah thank you, I did yes! :) I’m happy to hear it was a good experience!
Nice game, good controls. took me a min to realize i could jump to another planet
Thanks! I agree, that’s something I could provide more clear direction about
Best vibes in the jam. Loved the running in a circle to get out of the planet - very cool. Got a bit stuck - how do I get off of the first planet?
thanks for the review!! the intended way to get off the planet is to jump/latch onto the surrounding stars :)
oh snap! Will give it a shot!
The atmosphere (haha) is incredible here, excellent work!
Hahah nice, thank you so much!
An interesting idea, simple but atmospheric.
Glad you think so, thanks :)
Nice idea, like the abstract elements of a story suits the atmosphere of the game.
Thank you for the kind words!
nice visual
fsr it kept teleport me back
Thanks! that's something I'll keep in mind with tweaking in the future
