Core game mechanic feels very fun, although the game lacks content.
The boomerang physics feel really good, the limitation is used in a creative manner. The music is also very cool. Well done overall.
I really like the mechanic of the boomerang, it flows so freely.
I would have liked to see enemies in the scene, to make use of the boomerang, rather then throwing them for no reason.
The soundtrack is pretty catchy and i like the art of the character and the boomerang. The title is pretty long but also pretty accurate. The limitation is well used but i wish there where more darkness. Maybe the boomerang is some sort of light source and the rest of the screen is dark and there are some obstacles or even enemys you can't see.
Overall a great game with much potential :)
Good idea, and the limitation is implemented rather well. I like the boomerang physics.
The main drawback is that there isn't much of a game there. I think it would be a lot more interesting if there were enemies, obstacles, and so forth, so the player would *need* to use the boomerang to defend themselves, but then duck from the returning boomerang to survive... you get the picture. :)
Cool idea : )
Would love to what the further possibilities of the 'rang could be!
nice presentation but gameplay is sorely lacking anything interesting. just throwing boomerangs just dont cut it. especially if the boomerang just comes back to where it was thrown, not to the player.
would be more interesting if you had to wait for it to come back to you and dodge at just the right moment. like this its just click as many times as possible and step aside when the first boomerang comes back. and boom you got 20-30 points. repeat.
simple but addictive gameplay
Good Idea!
This is such a dumb concept, but it works SO WELL and is EXTREMELY ADDICTING. Keep up[ the good work!
Very simple game, easy to learn, and with good use of the limitation. As moonin comented below, it would be awesome to have a motivation to not throw the boomerang always in the same direction. But it is a gamejam, and the idea and concept for me is the most important thing, so I have to say you did an excelent job! Keep it up!
Well executed, simple yet fun! Feels addictive, after some "level" the boomerangs went closer making them harder to dodge which seems like a good way to increase the difficulty over progress.
You could add randomly spawned "coins"/birds/whatever that the player would want to throw at. That would encourage player to switch throwing direction more frequent and make risky throws.
Good job :)
Super creative concept and really well executed. I feel like what would've made this a 10/10 for me is if
1. I got more points for throwing more at a time (as it is, throwing one at a time is the winning strategy, but throwing them fast is the fun one!)
2. I think keeping the boomarangs within the visible window and moving them a bit slower would make it feel more strategic. They're so fast! It's CHAOS
I loved it, keep up the good work!

I can't play the game
Thanks! I uploaded a new build, tell me if you can play it!
