- Really fun submission I enjoyed the worldbuilding and the artstyle is absolute peak, Greath job!
How does the game fit into the theme?
The game only has one player control, which is the fishing boat's light. The light is used to fend away anomalies of the deep. Moreover, the player only has one life (if the anomaly hits them, they lose), and there's only one story.
What premade assets did you use if any?
The button clicking and the dialogue sound effect (the same one, I just chopped them up for different uses).

Great visuals and audio, although the take on the theme is pretty weak. Solid game though!

Thanks so much!! I've been re-exploring themes of nautical horror or sea things in general. I was inspired by a pixel art piece (aptly named Commercial Fishing lol, hence the title) and the feeling of interminable-ness of commericial fishing coupled with the vibe of a malicious sea really sold it for me.
