Really polished and the art is wonderful! A really cool spin on the clicker genre and love the lore haha. Just a nit picky, but the cows do go off screen and I have to wait for them to go back. Still, a great job!

Absolutely beautiful visuals! Love that you captured the feel of pokemon :) Gameplay is cute and and fun. Great job!

A great loop! A simple concept but really addictive to play haha

Hello everyone! My name is Duck Tran, CST-based timezone.

I'm a 17 y/o artist (both illustration and pixel art, flexible with artstyles) and a beginner to Unity.

My main goal is to gain experience in Unity and good GitHub practices! I've worked in a GTMK team before as the lead artist, though I didn't get much coding or Git action as the engine used was Godot. So now I'm looking for a Unity team!

For my projects and pixel art, see my itch: https://ducktran.itch.io/

For other illustrations, see my insta: https://www.instagram.com/duckstuff2008?igsh=cmQyNzE3NXo1ZmFr

My discord: mmm_ducc

In general, I prefer to work on more narrative-based games and simulations, but I'm open to the team's ideas!

Gosh absolutely loveee the art and detective feel of this game! The gameplay loop felt a bit repetitive but still very very clever and enjoyable. The music, 3d model, and feel of the play is spot on! Though would love a bit more narrative. Still, great work and keep it up!

Interesting concept and puzzle design! The controls felt a bit off when I jump and hit something and was stuck there for a moment.

I'm so easily spooked and I definitely felt tense with the music, atmosphere, and how the camera only lets you see one room at a time haha. That said, I wish the monster can be a bit more predictable, as I hid from it once and when I came out I couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe it's a design choice that it works this way? But it felt like the monster popped in and out and I couldn't predict when to hide.

That said, the art is wonderful! The limited palette is moody and a great choice!

Thanks so so much for the in depth criticism! These are really helpful! As the artist I'll look into how to discern the background and foreground more in the future :D

Aboslutely love this clever puzzle game! Love the art direction and the pixel-y feel (also really cool that all the texts feel hand drawn). Love seeing the little snake guy so happy eating itself haha :D Fantastic game and keep it up!

Gosh such an amazing experience. I absolutely love the minimalist relaxing artstyle and peaceful music. And coincidentally love that the little characters look like keyholes :) Loved seeing my past iterations running around and drowning themselves haha

Great job! This is a fantastic game :) Short and sweet. All 5's for me

Very interesting concept! Though I wish the dialogue was skippable, or at least moved a bit faster. The art needs some polishing, but otherwise I see this idea as really intruiging! Keep it up! :D

Incredibly fun mechanic and story! I really enjoyed going around talking to each character and wrangling those vermins lmao. I wish there's a bit more character involvement because I thought there'd be a plot surrounding Francis more. Still, incredibly amazing art and had fun!

Really really loved the atmosphere! This type of noir-esque anomaly horror is just my genre. Like other commenters I wish there were more of a narrative/story because that detective character looks so interesting to explore haha. Anyway, great job! Hoping to see this world expand more cause I love me some urban supernatural :)

Fun puzzle game and love the worldbuilding! A bit hard for me to figure out the one with six diodes, but overall very ominous atmosphere and engaging puzzles!

Sooo so cutee!! A really cozy and warm experience

Loveee this vibes so so much, the liminal space. Also glad it doesn't have jumpscares and the observers look kind cute cause otherwise I'm easily spooked. Took me a while to figure out the final number but then I realized you have to walk back to the door you came from lol

Great experience! Love the atmosphere and how the 3d designs all feel cohesive

This is absolutely so so charming!!! Gosh please have my special appreciation for the animator and composer and everyone else in this team cause I just loveee the western genre and the fun lil snake idea. Also a simple but cute gameplay loop :)

Great stuff!

Neat game! I really love detective style stories and it took me several tries to figure out the murderers. Loveeee the noir artstyle! Though I wish there could be some more animation or railroad ambiance sounds to sell the immersion more. I also felt the walking speed to be a bit slow, and I could use a skip dialogue button. Other than that, fun game!

Super fun! I really like the concept and idea, though the key movements were a bit confusing at times. Still, I really enjoyed the experience :D

Thanks for checking out the game and leaving feedback! I really appreciate it :D  You're not the only one who has commented on the speed of the ship being the issue, so I'll try to fix it after the jam and ease up on the difficulty.

Thanks for checking out the game! You're certainly not the first to comment on the speed of the ship, so I'll definitely have to improve on that after the jam. The skip dialogue choice for the "you died" ending part is something I didn't consider before, but that's a lesson learned to include it next time :]

Thanks for checking out the game! I'm glad you liked it <3

Heya! Thanks for checking out the game :D  I'll definitely try to ease up on the difficulty after the jam, so thanks for the feedback!

Thanks so much for checking out the game! Really appreciate it :D

Overall very good game! Solid theme interpretation and is quite hard for me :')

Simple but very clever game! I got 34/38 as the score and found it realy fun :D Also very awesome music haha. I agree with ACarlide that there could be a repeating combo as the level gets harder. But still, great game! :]

A very neat game! Love the idea and the whole setting's very charming and nostalgic <3 Made for a good loop; Though perhaps there could've been more variety, like different aisles and such. Nevertheless, good game! :D

Fun game! I felt the relation to the theme was a bit weak, though on its own the game is still quite fun! It'd be better if you guys can include a controls and game's purpose guide, and also to make the enemies come in waves (as I was a bit overwhelmed with how many enemies there are). Otherwise, very fun game! I love the dust bunny fellas :DD

Thanks so much for checking it out! I used the Pixel font set to medium size :]

Ah, I certainly did! Thanks for the heads-up! I tried through some endings after that and man it's pretty dark (in a good way!) Really interesting theme and story, and makes my heart ache for the poor soul who's trapped on the spaceship :')

Rated and commented! Thanks for checking out my stuff <3

I'm an easy-to-spook person, so the game definitely did well with the moody atmosphere and anxiety-inducing environment haha. Keep it up!

Interesting game! I wasn't able to properly get to an ending because I couldn't find the last message :') (The middle bottom one). Still, I feel like it's a very chill game, definitely atmospheric and I love love gathering those clues to piece together a story! Keep it up and good luck on the jam :]

Thanks for the review! Really glad you enjoyed the game :) I agree that I could've done more with the game, but I was pretty late to the party, so that'll have to be a learning lesson for me next time; joining earlier, that is😅Still! I'm glad to have finished the game and will hopefully expand it in the future!

Super fun game! Though I felt the theme was a bit weak, as a game on its own it's short and definitely enjoyable. I'm with the comments on the Z part :') But I would also suggest some guide, like it took some time for me to realize I can richocet the bullets, but aside from that, fantastic game!

Thanks for playing the game, and glad you liked the visuals! Admittedly, I joined the jam a bit late and could've spent that time wiser, so that'll have to be a learning lesson next time! Still, I do plan to further develop this game at some point; open up the world a bit more :) Thanks again and good luck on the jam :D

Incredibly interesting concept! Really makes you think about the puzzle and would love to see this project further developed!

Thanks for checking out the game! And glad you liked the atmosphere :]

Thanks for checking out the game! You're not the first to suggest the indication feature, so I'll take note of that when I further develop the game. Nevertheless, glad you enjoyed it, and good luck on the jam!

Interesting game! Was initially spooked by the bats but got a handle of the controls soon enough. I love the visuals and the goblin fella! Though I felt that the theme wasn't that strong in this game. Still, as its own game, it has a lot of potential to expand on the story!

Good luck on the jam and keep it up! :D
