Really awesome, expected nothing else having seen a little of the dev of this game!

i did start dropping some frames after spending 600$ on new miners/builders :D

sound was a little unbalaced. was hard to head what was being said so i cranked the volume, then opened the upgrade menu of a tower and i lost an eardrum xD

other than that great job!!!

This game is really amazing :) It is easy to grasp and you are never confused to what it is you have to do. The voice acting is great and really immerses you. i tried beating level 1 and failed XD, since you mentioned you will update the balance I will try it after that. I wished there was more money coming in so I could do more and discover how the more powerful turret work sooner. Really captivating, smooth, fun, challenging, one of the best games of the jam.

It was such a fun experience and I will for sure work on making a solid version with more balancing and some more fun things to explore! im so happy you enjoyed it thank you!

Amazing work! That was a lot of fun to play through, I had to restart after realizing just how much more powerful upgrades were vs buying more.

The whole map and click system felt freaking amazing. I really liked how difficult the game was, but maybe some type of difficulty slider? Or even a priority selector menu thing? 

Regardless, for 3 weeks this is really fun! Great work!

Great fun and nice start to the game. Turret placement was a little awkward as I had some placed down but the aliens just clobbered me. Nice job!

Thanks so much, once a tower is placed you have to allocate a miner to build it then you should be good to go. it seems due to balancing you can use the upgrades for a really powerful advantage hehe but thanks so much i really apreciate it.

Started off quite hard, until I started building some of the stronger towers. They might have been a little too strong, if you ask me.

Hahaha totally agree with you, our goal was always to make the game difficult, but  turns out the upgrades make the lategame turrets incredibly powerul... might have to take look at the numbers later on hehe

I am a big fan of tower defense games so you had me with this one. Great stuff. I took three attempts to get going but then I nailed it. Some of those towers are pretty powerful!

The highlight for me though, was not the game but the theme song. I loved the little pause you injected… made me smile!

AHAHAHAHA im so glad you like the pause! i was laughing my ass off when making it, and i was wondering if people would notice it. (the song credit goes to bardaky, i just made the pause)

And as for the balance for the game, we always had a goal of making it difficult, but balancing was one of the very last things done to the game (like 1hr before jam closes) so i wasnt even sure you could beat the game, when it was submitted.

Loved playing through this! First playthrough found it very difficult to get used to, but it felt beatable if I played better, so I loved the difficulty. I needed to devise a strategy to beat it & that really added to it! Went back and played it again the next day and finished it. Great experience & great work to all of you.

Thank you JERN, watching the vod of the first playthrough made me realise how bad the worker UX was like, you live and learn what not to do.

Im surprised you actually managed to beat it as i was still doing balancing when there was like 1 hour left in the jam, so i was actually not even sure you could beat the game.

Tips:

You can build more miners from the ship

Once a tower is placed a mining AI must be allocated to complete the building

Things we did but couldnt add due errors and time:

Powers e.g Powerful commando, Ion cannon, Metaor 

More towers with more effects

Enemies with powers to effect turrets

There are more levels however due to size are removed. 

More voice lines and story but due to size are removed.
