Rotating camera to solve a room is very interesting idea.

Initially we wanted to have puzzles, and more monsters (in general) for every room, and even crafting (things like building bridges between rooms etc).

I'd definitely like to explore this "core" functionality further at some point in the distant future.

Im so agressively good at this game i was able to walk around even when my health was at 0/100. considering becoming professional northfall athelete.

I do not understand how you guys pull off this kind of quality in only 2 weeks.

There's levels to this game dev thing and you guys are at the top for sure.

I was genuinely speechless when i saw this on screen effect on the camera after it went underwater.

I like how it world actually "feels" so alive. there was a moment where the entire island was drowned by the waves, but the npc's were on a boat so they didnt "die" and after it was done, they started building a track.

For some reason it makes me think of those cozy building simulator games that are quite popular these days, good job folks.

Thanks! Means a lot coming from you!

This game was inspired by Old School Runescape. which (i assume) was inspired by the Ultimate series.

We def wanted to add more enemies, but ran into other problems that needed addressing.

Also i wasn't able to allocate as much time as i did for the last jam, but happy we still managed to ship a functional product. :D

single handedly the greatest game i've ever played in my life.

it brings tears to my eyes as i check my butthole.

very nice game, legit got scared couple times when i wasnt expecting the monster to be there :D

Well done MERNADORNO, very fun concept :D

Interesting take on the survivors genre, i'd like to see this kind of character controller expanded, though it would be interesting to see if it would be better if the shooting was automatically shooting at your mouse

Triple A game for a gamejam? must be the Tubby bros.

Car controller feels really nice and "juicy"

Graphics are incredible, best looking game i've come across on the jam so far, good job guys!!!

Very cool game, feels like a survivors genre mixed with tower defence, would love to see full scale game in this style, well done :D

I Quite liked the combat system, very good job :D

would be cool if you could switch the weapons with numbers on keyboard, well done kilted!

the gamedesign is cool, congratz for finishing a game!

amazing work as per usual lynx, its unbelievable how talented you are, this game is my favorite to play so far!

Congratz for submitting this game, snail? more like a missile hahahaha :D

I found that you can beat the game if you just keep spamming all the abilities at the same time.

Cool and unique concept, well done

thx!

thx!

thanks! based on how this prototype has been received, im actually considering finishing this game, but will see :D

really cool idea and exectuion, the text is little bit hard to read, cos by the time you read when the potion was, its too late to push it to the right spot :D

I think if you solve how to make the player find the potion without reading the text, you've got nice game on your hands

thank you!

thank you!

thanks freshy!!!

dont think ive ever seen this kind of concept, well done :D

thank you!

thank you!

thank you Lakea!

Yea thankfully coyote time is not that difficult to implement.

I like to store the last grounded time, and then allow jumping if current time is withing the coyote time threshold of the last grounded time.

You could also implement reverse coyote time, where you allow enqueueing jumping in the air, and then it automatically triggers when you hit the ground, this is the fundemental part that makes platformers feel very responsive.

Its like that by design, after i saw how playtesters were reacting to dying out of the blue, i decided that it had to stay in the game.

You definitely nailed the game juice with this entry.

Gameplay is straight forward and easy to understand, good job!

Well done!

Luring enemies and killing multiple enemies with 1 potion feels very satisfying.

I agree with the comment below that you should be able to change potions with keyboard buttons.

Art is nice, should be proud of yourself for actually finishing a game.

Congratulations for finishing your first game!!!

Pixel art is fantastic!

Keep up the good work!

I see game physics, i press like.

Very unique concept, dont think ive seen this kind of implementation before, should be proud of this one!

Incredible work as per usual John.

This seems like a perfect game to pick up after long day of work and just shut down the brain, while watching things getting blown into pieces.

Great job, especially if this is your first game.

I would like to see coyote-time being implemented as it improves the "game feel" part of any platformer significantly.

I think there's potential in the tincture mechanic, keep up the good work!

thanks keshavox!

good for you actually finishing a project lupo.

should have used dropping piano sound effect when the piano collides with the ground xD
