Had a lot of fun with a game! Sounds fit the simplicity and it brings be back to a good old Game Maker days, good job!

Developer

thx!

Fantastic twist on the old snake game, loved how the upgrades add variety and having a leaderboard is such a great feature for the jam, I'm envious of some of those times. Congrats!

Developer

thx!

Love the upgrades and am curious what a more full snake roguelike would look like!

Developer

thanks! based on how this prototype has been received, im actually considering finishing this game, but will see :D

Fun game, well done! The amount of upgrades you've implemented makes for some good replayability and you've even added a leaderboard for some competition. :)
The collisions could definitely be more forgiving, and turning faster the further from the desired direction you are feels a bit weird, those are really my only complaints.

Developer

thank you!

The controls were a little "funky" but useable. The gameplay was reminiscent of the old snake game from Nokia and  brought me back to a more "simpler time". The graphics are not that important to me in a game like this, maybe missing an effect or something (me being picky). The sound effect for the projectiles got annoying once you got up there in shooting speed. The "hitbox" I thought was a little off and frustrating in the very beginning but easily overlooked after a playthrough or two. All-in-all a fun little game, and just about as addictive as the aforementioned Snake. Thank you for you time on this one Sammy.

Fun game! Controls took a little getting used to and the collisions could be more forgiving to the player. But addictive and lots of fun.

Developer

thank you!

Awesome game! I will celebrate the moments I am on the scoreboard hahah! 6:14!!!

Would like to see this expanded, there can be so many synergies made, and possible griefing.

I probably have sunk like an hour and a half now into this game already hahaa

Developer

thank you!

Pretty addicting game loop, only complaint would be that a lot of times i don't think i hit a thing but died due to collision.

Developer

Its like that by design, after i saw how playtesters were reacting to dying out of the blue, i decided that it had to stay in the game.

Nice programing work buddy love it . like level base snake growth

Developer

thanks keshavox!

Definetely worth the time invested - both to develop and to play. =D

Seriously addictive little game! I would maybe adjust the hitboxes on the stars (or make the stars bigger to fit the hitboxes), I didn't feel like dying was my fault sometimes.

Developer(+1)

Its like that on purpose because its rage inducing xD
