Well the menu was an asset purposely so I didn't spend much time at all on it ;) (mentioned in the credits) Thank you for your time.

You're absolutely right: a bit of guidance would go a long way. I had a tutorial and hint system, but those ended up breaking late in development along with some of the crafting and event logic. It just became a big mess. Thank you so much, I really appreciate the kind words. Also thank you for your time.
Unfortunately, things started to unravel late in development. The crafting recipes are in there, but you cant see them due to a UI issue. The system that delivers the hints and directions broke along the way - and with it, the event triggers that drive inventory updates and progression. It turned into a cascade of failures: broken events led to broken inventory, which disrupted the entire crafting flow. I simply ran out of time to untangle it all before the jam ended. I'm incredibly grateful for your time, feedback and support.
The controls were a little "funky" but useable. The gameplay was reminiscent of the old snake game from Nokia and brought me back to a more "simpler time". The graphics are not that important to me in a game like this, maybe missing an effect or something (me being picky). The sound effect for the projectiles got annoying once you got up there in shooting speed. The "hitbox" I thought was a little off and frustrating in the very beginning but easily overlooked after a playthrough or two. All-in-all a fun little game, and just about as addictive as the aforementioned Snake. Thank you for you time on this one Sammy.
