Neat game! I like that your character grows as it eats, gradually increasing difficulty.

Very intense! :D A really fun use of physics and the mechanics are solid overall. The sounds and art are also nice.

I do wish the potions spawned a bit further from the left edge, I kept knocking potions into the recipe area by accident.

The movement set is really good! I like how many secrets there are and that there are some options in how you can navigate the levels.

Fun game, well done! The amount of upgrades you've implemented makes for some good replayability and you've even added a leaderboard for some competition. :)
The collisions could definitely be more forgiving, and turning faster the further from the desired direction you are feels a bit weird, those are really my only complaints.

Cool game! The puzzle mechanics are fun, I'm sure some interesting levels could be made with these and a couple more tinctures. Also well done on adding an optional secondary objective for those who like challenges.

A small nitpick - it isn't immediately obvious which tiles are passable - it took me a few deadly falls to realize I could walk through the white pillars. :D

A very neatly packaged game, really well done for your first one! :) An interesting twist on the Suika mechanics, and the little easter eggs are fun.

You can combine two essences before they even get into the cauldron if you click fast enough :D

What a silly lookin fella

This is fun! There's a good variety of potions to make without being overwhelming, the hunt for ingredients kept me moving around the map and the art and audio is nice. The enemies aren't very smart, but they make up for their lack of pathfinding with sheer numbers and blocking powers quite effectively. :D

I do wish I could select potions by pressing their corresponding number 1-5 on the keyboard. The existing keybindings feel a bit clunky, although after a while I did get the hang of pressing Q and E the right amount of times.

Well done on your submission!

An extra ball is created whenever you hit a Dupeclover . :) The direction it flies isn't really random but it can definitely feel that way just because of how the physics engine works.

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Thanks! Originally I had a longer-running game in mind but I also wanted to have something more or less finished for the jam :D

Thank you! :)

Thanks for playing!

1) Yes, the max number on a block is 10 (once your merge two 9s, they turn into a 10 and disappear shortly after).

2) The time between new blocks decreases over time, but the max speed is one block every 1.4 seconds. Coupled with the fact that you can merge blocks until they disappear, theoretically you can get infinite points. :)

3) Yes, you can only pick up blocks that are in the indicator next to your character.

The gray blocks are just regular blocks and now have the number 1 on them, the screenshots are outdated.

Hi! Responded to you on Reddit as well, but for got to say - no, we didn't end up collaborating :)

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you're enjoying the game.

That bug is known, I did apply a fix for it but apparently that wasn't enough. :D

A very well made game, everything just fits so nicely together. I especially enjoyed the animations and particle effects.

Fun little game. The graphics and audio are nice and silly, but I do think the game could use a gradual difficulty increase instead of instant rush hour. :D

Pretty cool for what is essentially 8x8 resolution!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

They're drawn using the "sprite stacking" method. The sprite consists of several layers that are drawn one pixel above one another and that gives the illusion of 3D when the sprite is being rotated.

Wow, that's pretty impressive! Glad you like it :)

Thanks for including my game in your video! You got to the last level, actually!
