Did it get more laggy? I played a bit of it at the very start of the jam and now when I went back to play it again before rating it but unfortunately it is unplayable :(

Music needs to be set lower by default and have options for adjusting manually, e.g mute (unity default audio always blasts your eardrums for some reason)

It reminded me of temple run and feels like it would be good as a phone game with swipe controls.

Feels like the core gameplay and functionality is complete, so congrats! Agreed with other comments that it needs some more polish.

Like the water, the web version lags on relatively good hw (even tho doen't use much GPU/CPU, seems more to do with GC or spawning stuff lag cause it's not constantly slow), hitboxes are definitely too large because you need to jump a lot before the obstacles to avoid them, would like to replay again if the gameplay feels more "on rithm" or you have cues on when to jump

I enjoyed the low-poly aesthetic. I’m inexperienced with playing games like this, but I felt that the game was working against me as a player. My jumps felt too long and slow, and the hitboxes too large, making it difficult to navigate many of the tighter obstacles the generator was throwing at me. Options for audio volume could be helpful as well. Keep it up!

Developer

I will keep that in mind.

Going to be honest here... this feels pretty basic. Like followed a tutorial online and didn't do much else kind of basic. You have the basics in there, but it was pretty painful to play. Slow loading, painful audio and controls. You could definitely try to add some effects to make the movement less of a teleport, and tune the jump so it's more responsive.

Developer

Thankyou for your honest response. I feel the same way about this game it's pretty basic. But yes there are rooms for improvements I guess.

Great start to an endless runner!  Some wind speed particles and water particles would be nice to make you feel the speed better. The sound was super loud on my headphones even with my computer audio initially set at 40.  Keep it up!! Please check out my Hollow Knight inspired game when you have time :D
