I send you the friend request in Itch, please check it out

Change it to paid if you want once the game Jam ends

Hello everyone!

We are excited to announce Retro Games Jam Bundle #1, a game jam focused on bringing together developers who enjoy creating games inspired by classic retro styles.

This is not just a typical game jam. Selected participants will have their games included in a curated bundle sale on itch.io, where revenue from the bundle will be shared among all contributors.

The goal of this event is to create a collection of fun and creative retro-inspired games while giving indie developers an opportunity to gain exposure and earn revenue from their work.

GAME JAM LINK: https://itch.io/jam/retro-games-jam-bundle-1

How It Works

Developers can submit their retro-inspired games to the jam. After submissions close, we will review all entries and select 35 developers whose games will be included in the final bundle.

The selected games will then be featured together in a limited-time bundle sale on itch.io at a discounted price.

Revenue Share

The bundle revenue will be distributed as follows:

30% to the organizers
70% shared among developers

Each selected developer will receive 2% revenue share from the total bundle sales.

Submission Rules

• A maximum of 35 developers will be selected.
• Each developer may submit multiple games.
• A maximum of 3 games per developer may be included in the final bundle.
• Multiple games from the same developer will still count as one developer entry.
• Games must be complete and playable.
• Games must be owned by the submitting developer.
• You can submit free games but it is recommended that you submit paid games (Paid games will get priority over Free games)
• By submitting a game, you agree that if selected, your game may be included in the bundle and you accept the revenue share model described above.

Theme

The jam focuses on retro-inspired games. This can include:

• Arcade-style gameplay
• Classic gameplay mechanics
• Retro-inspired sound design or aesthetics
• Story games and Single Player games

Developers are free to interpret the retro theme creatively.

Why Participate?

• Opportunity to earn revenue from the bundle sale
• Get exposure on itch.io
• Be part of a collaborative indie game bundle
• Showcase your retro-style games to new players

We are still open for collab

Update: I still require 2D Artist for following things
1) Environment (2D Side scroller Loop)
2) Obstacles & 2D Objects

If you are still looking for developers, I can join. @asif21 & mdashaikh1@gmail.com

Hey, can you share me some of your previous projects or work you have done? I generally work on Unity projects, you can check out my profile. However I would like to do some experiment, if you interested to collab in any small project we can discuss @asif21

Game was good but the best part is overall UI design.

I did not understood the game.

It's like Two things can happen!

Great concept, A comic book style story game is something new!

Sound alone is scaring the hell out of me! Well done.

I love the artwork of this game!

I love, love, love the overall concept of this game. This is a unique idea since I haven't played a text based game let alone text based horror game before. I got the True ending!!!

TRUE ENDING

Survived

Hasumi's parents found her at the 7-Eleven at 01:47. She left the thread that night and never returned. One year later, an unsigned message appeared in the thread archive: "I still hear the bell sometimes on late trains. But I'm okay. Don't get in the car with the man who smiles. Trust the people who stay in the thread."

The one-legged man appeared at exactly the right moment.

No one could explain it.

Not everything in the dark is trying to hurt you.

Love the demo, Can't wait for a complete fix game

Thanks for letting me know

The concept looks cool, can't wait to play once it's complete.

It was decent. I like the whole main menu and vibe. The AI generated art for the poster is only thing I have major issue with though.

If you are looking for a programmer then I can help you. Although I don't use Ren'py for Visual Novel project. I use Unity Engine in which I use my own scripts or Fungus Plugin. If you are okay with this switch over then let me know. Thanks!

I like the concept of the game, all the dream sequence were amazing but fav one was the red sky skateboard dream. Which game engine you used to make this?

90% accurate to real life!

Sorry I did not understood the game.

Kinda like a 2D Minecraft
