[Volunteer] Beginner Python/Java dev looking to join a small project

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to volunteer on a small game dev project to get some real experience. I’m still a beginner — most of what I’ve done so far are simple study exercises and small prototypes in Python and Java.

I’m currently studying data science and AI in the Netherlands, so I’m comfortable with basic programming concepts, and I’ve been practicing things like simple game loops, OOP, and basic gameplay mechanics. I’m not expecting to jump into anything big; I’m just hoping to contribute where a beginner can be useful.

I’m happy to help with small tasks, debugging, documentation, or anything that doesn’t require advanced experience. I’m motivated, open to feedback, and mainly looking for a chance to learn while being helpful.

If you’re working on a project and could use an extra pair of hands, I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks for reading!

would you be interested in working on a godot project?

do you want to talk about this privately? I have no experience with Godot but I’m willing to learn

sure we can talk privately, my discord is: genetic2236

I’ve sent you a friend request

Hey, can you share me some of your previous projects or work you have done? I generally work on Unity projects, you can check out my profile. However I would like to do some experiment, if you interested to collab in any small project we can discuss @asif21

I really appreciate your interest in my work. At the moment, I don’t have a game portfolio yet since I’m focused on web design while studying at university and working two jobs. I am building one, though I’m currently learning Godot and Unity and working on several small projects. Because of that, I don’t have the time to take on a project I’m not fully committed to. But hit me up if you want to show me something
