Use of the limitation
You have to spawn snakes which kill you. The dual application is that you spawn a snake that kills you, but you have to use it as a key too! Basically, an enemy that is also a key.
Cookies eaten
IDK, a lot.

Funny game, but maybe a better tutorial and some UI&art changes would make it better, but still a good concept, took time understanding how it work, but good job overall
So funny! Great job
Thanks! I spent a lot of time on this! I was mostly trying to figure out A* (A Star) which is for AIs. I recommend it if your working on enemy AIs! I had a lot of fun figuring out how to make AIs and I'm happy with the end product! Thanks for the feedback!
I struggled to understand the game at first but after I finally understood how to play it was actually pretty fun! The UI was pretty hard to see because my monitor is huge; I would suggest scaling your UI canvas according to the screen size. Apart from that it was quite enjoyable and I feel like you learnt a lot about pathfinding while making this game so great work!
Thanks! So will I have to code to get the camera to fit screen size, or is it a thing I can do in Unity? Thanks for the feedback!
I like the use of the limitation and I find the game fun. The only thing I would add is that it's very difficult to see the upper markers. My screen is 1440p
Oh. I'll look into fixing it. Thanks for the feedback!
possibly just because my screen is 2940x1842 at 13”: the font is TINY, so at no point in the game was i ever able to read my score or timer. still beat it tho, just had to “feel” when the timer was going to expire
you should normalize your movement vectors. as it stands, pressing right moves you one unit per time, pressing up moves you one unit per time, so pressing the up-right diagonal moves you over 40% faster at 1.414 units per time!
Thanks I'll look into that... I've never seen the text so tiny! Were you playing in fullscreen? Also. I'll look into normalizing the speed! Thanks for the feedback!
that was indeed playing in fullscreen yes
I think I realized what is happening. I playtest on my small computer. You're playing on a large pc screen, right? I'll adjust it after the jam!
it’s just my laptop, my desktop has a 4.5K display so it’d probably be even smaller there
I really wanted to play this game, but a day ago I sent my laptop to fix it, and currently I use a very old laptop computer. When I want to play any game over the Internet, its operation is very weak. I currently hope that you add the game so that I can download it on the laptop or play it on the phone, for example.
You can download the game by scrolling down the bottom of the itch page! Thanks, tell me if there's anyway I can help you play it!
Great game! I love how fast the gameplay is. At first I wasn't looking at the time and didn't know why I died and also the final level was a bit confusing.
Yeah. Did you beat it? I'll look into adding an explanation for the final level! Thanks for the feedback!
It was confusing for a second but the concept is really creative and you really nailed the 8-bit style. Gameplay feels a little too fast but that could just be me being bad lol. Great job.
So, did you get it in the end? Thanks for the feedback!
yeah I got to level 3.
Good game, it took me a second to understand, maybe a tutorial could be helpful. I like the graphics.
It took me a while to understand this game ,Very GOOOOOOOOOOOOD
Very cool concept, I like that you have to use the enemy as a tool in game! It took me a while to understand what the objective of each level was, though, so some more instructions would be helpful :) Good job!
I like your game concept it's very impresive
Nice game. speed in player should be less than this speed what you put it.
I'll look into changing it after the jam. Thanks for the feedback!
A very interesting concept! I made it to the end after getting a bit used to it. I do appreciate the tutorial at the beginning. Its interesting how you have to reset the timer but that also spawns enemies to make it harder every time you reset.
The limitation use was great! It was enjoyable to run around getting the snakes to do what they are supposed to. The added timer to get back to the coop was also a great touch to spice things up. Great game here!
Did you make it to the boss? I haven't seen many people get there but I promise getting to the end is worth it! Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah, i did! The farmer that followed me around? Yeah, great work there too. However, I think I got a “thanks for playing screen” before I got all the barns so either I’m really bad and I failed or that’s a bug. However, what I did play was really fun and interesting. Good job!!
I think you did everything correctly. Your goal was to kill the farmer in that one. Perhaps I should make that more clear in game! Thanks for the feedback!
Oh cool! Yay! I won then! Yeah, I’m one to kind of skim through instructions and try to use critical thinking (which rarely goes well haha) so if you mentioned it that it totally on me. That would be my fault
Yo, this game is really funny, I liked it a lot
It took me a bit of time to get used to the mechanics, but when I did, it was really fun!
Great work ;)
Did you make it to the boss? I haven't seen many people get there but I promise getting to the end is worth it! Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah I made it! I sent a screenshot, but it didn't load
Very creative use of the limitation!
Reminded me of pikmin lol. I think if this game was polished a bit more it could be really well done. Cool idea!
yeah. I completely agree, I'm still pretty new to gamedev. I've been working on my skills for close to 3 years in unity but never in art or sound. Thanks for the feedback!
Quite an interesting game! The snake mechanic is great. I had fun trying to figure out how to make snakes eat farmers without running out of time and getting eaten. Almost had sort of a strategic element to it. Music really helped the ambience of urgency too hehe. One thing that I thought could be improved is the size of the goals. It was kind of easy to miss them since the chicken is moving really fast.
Are you saying you enjoyed the music? I'm new to music so it made me happy to hear you say that! Did you finish the game?
I didn't manage to finish the game, but I think I'd be able to. I'm currently deep in finals so I'm juggling between studying and rating game haha. I'll come back later to try and finish your game!
Also yeah, the music was enjoyable! I don't think it was very "melodic" but it doesn't matter since it still fitted the thematic of your game in my opinion
