Wow presentation is great! I tried really hard to get to the end but I couldn't make it haha. I think the wall jumping felt strange that I would snap back into the wall unless I perfectly swapped my hand from left to right. Other then that the game was a solid foddian platformer, congratz on the entry.

Good game from what I'm seeing of the beginning!

The presentation, the art style and the music is really well done. Like it was said before by another person, I struggled with where to go and what to do at the beginning too. I got stuck after the 1st gem.
I think I need to climb  the platforms and go to the left after the water, but there's a thing on the ceiling that keeps hitting me (maybe it's a tight jump). I tried to see if there was something with the controls that I was missing. Anyway, I would love to see more of that for sure, it controls very well. Good job on your submission!

Thanks for your review!
I completely agree with your critiques.
After the email from otto last night i've made some changes (that are awaiting deployment) that fix some of the starting pacing / issues on where to go.
That jump after the water is a bit garbage as it requires an almost pixel perfect coyote jump and airdash at the right time. Really not great for someone who just got out of the first area!

Great presentation and polish! I found the controls a bit twitchy (I struggled with wall-jumping), but overall a very clean game. Great work!

Really fun, the movement is nice and fast which I really like! I like how you set up the bottom area as a sort of space where you can learn the mechanics without a huge amount of risk involved if you mess up

The artwork and music is wonderful - great presentation! Movement felt pretty smooth too - well done! c:

The movement strongly reminds me of some of my favorites (megaman zero, hollow knight) so just playing it is fun for me. That said, I felt a little fuzzy on where to go / what to do, so I got stuck after the first gem. Also - serious question - what's a 'Crim'?

Thanks for the comparison! I'll take that as a compliment haha

As for directions, i hope this helps. Just a zoomed out version of the start.
The issue being the "floating brick" area requires a jump dash after a small coyote jump (you can jump after being off a platform for like .25 seconds ( i think)

Crim is short for Criminal

Beautiful sprite work - I especially love the different expressions based on the movement

Great visuals! I really liked the slide mechanic. The airdash felt a bit unsatisfying to use and I felt like the tutorial could have been a little bit clearer but other then that its a pretty solid game!

Fluid and satisfying movement, would definitely like to see a full version of this game!

Slick movement. Had fun sliding and wall jumping. I dug the pace.  Fast enough to get your heart pumping, but mellow enough so you never lose control. Sometimes I would purposefully hit a spike just so the little dude made that "OH" sound. I'll definitely be back to play more of this.
