This game was pretty cool. The art style was great but the camera is just zoomed too much in to the main character. It feels as if you wanted to show the player how great the art is, rather than increase the game field so the player has a better idea of where to explore.

Personally, I had no trouble at all figuring out the health system, the inventory, equipment and where to go but I think that's because I play games a lot and know what some games are trying to teach. Your game did well in teach an experienced player what they need to know, but other players definitely would find it confusing.

The audio left a lot to be desired though I appreciate the combat music to let me know when wolves were near (especially with the small screen real-estate). All in all, it's a solid game but could be a lot better with a shift in focus from art to gameplay.

At first I thought the small resolution would be against this game, but in general I think it helps with the sense of claustrophobia and urgency on the survival environment. The graphics are very well polished, the item management is simple but it works very well for a game on this scale. The combat feels a bit stiff, but it doesn't become a big nuisance.
Unfortunately, I got stuck and was unsure if there was somewhere else to go or to do other than keep killing wolves, as following the tracks only led me to dead ends. The graphics and music are great, and the game definitely builds an atmosphere of its own. In general, it's a solid and charming game, specially considering the restrictions in which it was made. Seems like something that could be expanded upon and be very successful =)

Aside from the sprite which were a little too large for that screensize, the game felt great to play and quite polished (even if I could not find what to do apart from killing wolves).

Congratulations, the game is amazingly pretty. As others have mentioned, the game feels very claustrophobic because of the sprite size. Don't know if that was intentional. I'd love to see this game at a higher screen size! :)

Great graphics and music, smooth controls and convenient UI. There's one trouble though: sprites are too big for comfortable gameplay at resolution 64x64.
