Did you work in a team?
I worked alone. This was my first solo project and first proper attempt at completing a game, so it was a fun useful experience.
Was the resolution a challenge?
Yes, it was difficult to make readable sprites and animations at such a resolution, especially since the game elements are small in relation to the screen.
What did you learn?
This was my first time doing a project all by myself, so it was an important leaning experience in terms of learning how to structure a project and manage time and resources.

Nice implementation of the “gas”, maybe range is extending a bit too far from what I’d expect on a spray, but the mechanics on it feel quite solid. The game is quite fun to play with the tight rooms full of enemies. Great job!
This looked great, and I loved the animated menu screen.
Gameplay and animations were super smooth.
Very cool little game! The animations are so smooth and satisfying – especially when breaking furniture or opening doors – and the color palette is very pleasant. This game is super polished!
Minor nit: since both the player and the steam are white, I sometimes lost track of where I was while spraying a ton of steam in intense fights. Also, I wish I could restart from the floor I died on instead of restarting from floor 1 :)
A great entry!
I managed to get to about floor 3 but got a bug where I ran into an enemy and the screen turned black. I like what's been made so far, the destructible furniture and different enemy types. I do wish there was a bit more juice in the game, stronger sound effects and soundtrack. Personally, the main weapon also feels a bit unimpactful. Although generic, I felt something with a regular bullet trajectory would have done just as well. I really like the potential in this game and hope you keep working on this.
Simple fun gameplay and lots of attention to detail like permanent destructible furniture… I felt it was a bit harsh that you had to start from the very beginning if you die :) Maybe the same floor would be enough :)
Maybe having a nice animated gif of your game as thumbnail might get more people to get a good look on this game :) the current thumbnail unfortunately doesn’t quite bring the high quality of the content across
The sprites are so cute, and great gameplay also, love the little Mona Lisas on the walls...
What!? I can't believe this game has only 5 ratings! It's awesome. The design and animation are wonderful and the controls are just perfect. Fast, fluid and responsive. This game deserves *much* more attention. The only thing it's missing is a soundtrack (sfx are great though).
I did it \o/ took me 3 tries, having to restart all over was brutal ^^ I was expecting a giant boss or huge wave on the 7th floor haha, this is excellent by the way a really good game very addictive :)
There's something absolutely delightful in your character movement animation. I love the detail that the rug changes color when you've completed a room, so that it's clear from the hallway which rooms need doing. I haven't yet made it through all the floors, but I'll be coming back to try again!
Very fun.
Really great job on the 1-bit player and enemy animations. You really create the illusion of legs running around despite them just being thick white rectangles.
Great game, I especially liked the random level generation and visuals. I found the game a bit hard.
Very nice, love the progression in difficulty, and the graphics are really charming!
