Did you work in a team?
I made this game by myself, I had a lot of fun.

Was the resolution a challenge?
Text can only be used very limited. There is a camera that makes the whole game look like 64x64 pixels. However, the UI is not influenced by that, so that had to be handcrafted. Also, there is just not a lot of space to work with.

Good game, but it could have a bit more visually, maybe a better feedback when you shoot enemies like particles or a muzzle effect in the weapon. It could also use more variety with gameplay and enemy design.

Thank you! I totally agree with you.

The gameplay got a bit old by level two, and I found myself unable to clamp down on the number of enemies in order to get close to the spawner. Audio could have used some variety as well, but the music was kickass and felt fitting to the gameplay 👍 Not a bad effort overall, keep it up!

Thank you for your comment! Once you destroy enough spawners, you can slowly decrese the number of enemies. Also, at the end of each level you can upgrade your attack speed. When you die, you keep upgrades. I managed to finish all 3 levels without dying, so it is possible; but I know how the levels look like. You should be able to finish the game at the 2nd or 3rd try, but then again, there is no special winning screen (:

The gameplay is a but too repetitive, and the enemies can quickly get out of hand. It was fun though!

Thanks!

brighter graphics for the bullets would have been worked better, the metal music was fitting for the theme. i couldnt feel the difficulty in it though

Cool twin stick shooter! I had a glitch on the browser that the game didn't fit exactly right on the page but I think that was an itch problem. Other than that, the music gives the right feel, although I think you should replace the enemy die sound with something like squishing a bug but juicier

I love this game but how not to die?

And actually is not 64x64 or less... because blurry pixels

Nice work. The background track adds a lot of tension. I had a hard time seeing the black bullets - I'd recommend changing it to something brighter. Changing the player's cursor to a sprite of a person could potentially add to the immersion.
