Did you work in a team?
Solo work, started and finished in the last few hours before the end of the jam. I almost gave up haha but I'm really joining jams with the goal of learning to deliver instead of endlessly iterating and putting things on the back burner, so I'm very happy I submitted anything at all.
Was the resolution a challenge?
Couldn't get the bitsy text engine to conform so I just skipped text all together :)
What did you learn?
Lessons: Bitsy hacks are really cool and I'll be using them in more jams. And never be afraid to ask the mods for help.

It looks really nice. I think a game with this aesthetic could be pretty cool.
Thanks! I think so too! Unfortunately the "gamier" bits are the ones that require the most hacking with bitsy, as it's clearly meant for nearly-passive exploration. Let's see how far we can push it next time :D
Considering you only had 4 hours to make this, it's very impressive! I like the overall mood.
Thank you very much! Maybe next time I'll be able to get even near the amount of amazing game-feel polish your entry had
Very cool aesthetic, I think your experiment is a success. Definitely try music next time.
Thank you very much for trying it out and for the compliments! I wish I had the extra 15 minutes to add music but I'm definitely doing it next time haha
It looks really good for a small resolution prototype, it would be interesting to see what becomes of this. Well done on submitting in such a short time!
Thanks so much! Indeed I was almost giving up on uploading anything because I started with 5 hours to the deadline, but it was very fun still!
Great atmosphere, I think you have a good base for a horror game here. I felt like the rotation input detection was a bit too fast though, I would often be turning further than I wanted to :P
Thanks so much for trying it out! The rotation is meant to be old dungeon crawler style, just one press for a 90º turn. I'll make that more clear in the description!
The dark mood is definitely there ! I hope you can turn this into a full game !
just one thought : include arrow keys support for those of us who don't have a qwerty keyboard !
Thanks! I hope so, too!
And it is supposed to work with the arrow keys, that's how I play it haha
Can you message me your setup so I can try to check whats wrong?
I use a MacBook Air 2013.
It was short but beautiful, the color palette and the atmosphere the graphics give is very nice i wish there was some music to support that. At first I thought it was all about the monster in the forest but then found the cave, key and the orb.
Thanks a lot for trying it out! I was very frustrated that I didn't have time for sound, but hopefully on my next jam I'll make better use of the time! The monster was supposed to disappear after flashing, but oh well, now it just stands there ominously hahaha
