Did you work in a team?
just me! yeah, I had fun.
Was the resolution a challenge?
The 64x64 resolution wasn't actually important to the gameplay, persay, but more gimmick-y? like "minecraft but low resolution". I saw norman's sky and I just had to, lol.
What did you learn?
I learned about procedural generation with perlin noise, quad generation in unity, and texture atlases. I think that it'll help with making more games, I guess.

Nice idea, but there is nothing to do in the game (except of building). Good music, good graphics, no sound effects when jumping, mining, and placing blocks. But still really good job!
Nice game. Also, 25 seconds before the deadline is tight.
Yeah, it's more of a tech demo than a game, but it works and looks quite nice for what it is. Nice job.
Very janky but it was pretty nice looking and it seems like you made an attempt to challenge yourself
"25 seconds before the deadline" 🤣
Would love to see this but, although the download link says it's mac compatible, I only find a Windows executable inside the zip.
oh, sorry! I forgot that it was a windows only build 😅
definitely going to build for osx once I actually get it working, though. thanks for taking a look at it!
Was pretty cool, though there wasn't much to do, was less of a game and more of a showcase to me, very nice though, if improvements were made in the future post-jam would play again.
thanks for the input!
Np!
It would be nice if it teleported you back onto the island if you fell off.
honestly, it was going to be infinite and the island was made fifteen minutes before the deadline and will be removed, but thank you for the comment, I appreciate it!
Fun to see this type of scene rendered in 64x64, but it really takes away too much detail to stay enjoyable. Placing blocks appears to replace edge blocks, and there doesn't seem to be a way to "mine" blocks. A little more polish would have really helped here (a landing menu, some music/sfx, etc)
Thanks for the input, and especially for the comment about the resolution. i'll definitely add more options post jam!
I mean, it doesn't crash immediately, so that a plus, right?
Also, 5 stars for authenticity.
yes yes not crashing immediately is definitely a plus
