Nice work. Seems like a solid start. I'm assuming it's procedurally generated, which is fun to see.
Only thing I think it needs is more stuff. Monsters, inventory, etc. But it's solid from a movement and digging perspective.

Terraria started in a similar state :)
This is a good start to a game, and of course it needs a lot more content added to make it more engaging. You may consider adding an inventory so the things the player collects can be stored somewhere or consider adding enemies so there is some sort of danger in the world. Don't want to trek somewhere where you might die!
Assuming the code you have so far isn't too messy, there's a lot of room to expand your game!
Nice controls and a good remake of terraria. Some more gameplay would be nice.
It's a good game. I think you solved pretty well the map generator mechanic. I was expecting to find different kind of chests, maybe different color and values. Good job!
For a first game jam this is great, you got some pretty interesting core mechanics developed in a short amount of time which is really impressive! you finished the build and uploaded in time for the deadline too, you didn’t break the game by trying to implement all those features you had planned, this is a huge success!
As for the features you do have played I imagine they will make the gameplay feel much more fun, with some more time and polish you an create a pretty solid game :]!
I really like this, it's pretty good per se, and it's also a great starting point for updates, like adding enemies, powers or even pickaxes that give more range! Hope you come back to it and polish it even more!
It's simple but seems quite functional and pleasant. Pretty impressive for your first game ever, especially given that it was made in a short game jam. Good job!
