Such a great implementation of the theme! The core mechanic is well made and works together so well with each new side mechanic!

Despite the simplicity of the game graphic, the interaction and usage of corruption is *chef kiss* Sublime!!! I can see this being turned to a full game with more interesting puzzles ideas as the game progresses! For me, the game looks does not bother me as much as it bring nostalgia to the bowser flash game era, so up to you to up the looks of the game or not. A minor comment for me as, some of the level could use some rearrange with some level previous level feel a bit harder than the next one.
Overall, this game is freaking amazing!
This game was way better then I thought it would be.
I haven't played all the games yet. But I actually think mechanically this game is one of the best interpretations of the Corruption concept so far. It actually feels very much integrated to the gameplay rather then being a visual or storytelling element.
I actually liked how you don't explicitely explain what the effects of corruption are, as figuring them out and having an Aha moment that I really enjoy from puzzle games. It was surprisingly solid in terms of design. I read some other people talk about getting stuck or cheesing puzzles, but I didn't encounter anything like that in my playthrough.
Of course, the main thing for feedback would be the presentation aspect of the game. But I think you know about that already. I think for future jams, finding a team that can focus on art or presentation can help a lot. You seem to have the design aspect of the game down, and getting others to help you can free you up a bit more to focus more on level design.
I could see there being more complicated puzzles later on that showcase the corruption effects more.
Incredibly solid puzzle game. Concept is really creative. Each level solution feels unique.
I feel that the levels can be sorted by difficulty though. Some earlier level feels more complex than later ones.
Also need a little more work on the collision, especially the level where you are required to jump with the plant.
Nice programmer art btw XD
I had great fun playing, thanks for making this!
Really nice puzzle game! Visuals can be improved true but you were on your own so I wouldn't judge that much about it (I know how it feels as a solo dev xD). At least we can see that its actually biboo we are playing, the pebbles, saplings, golden apples and gem. As long as we see what they are supposed to be, its well done! Really loved the Puzzles! Though on Stage 7 I kinda cheesed the puzzle. Idk if its supposed to be solved like this (probably not) but if you take the corrupted pebble and jump while facing the barricade in front of the gem while its still closed, the pebble still hits the gem and the level is done. While on other maps I kinda got stuck on random stuff around the map sometimes because tiles weren't aligned properly.
This is a really fun puzzle game! The big thing would be to work on the visuals a bit to create more of an atmosphere, as well as some sound effects, but otherwise very solid.
This is a great puzzle game. If you worked on the visuals, and then added more levels, you would have a great game here!
These were pretty solid puzzles, I've gotta say! Had a blast solving through them. I adore Prism Magic, so it added a sweet instrumental touch as I worked my way out too.
- I do agree that adding some quality-of-life items like settings would be a great plus! Giving some SFX and anims some love would also do pretty solid, if you wanted to improve on this.
- Otherwise, I could picture a sleuth of ever-more challenging puzzles like this, with who-knows-how-many different items I have to leverage! Very much a fan of the multiple mechanics piece, as challenging as that might be to design from your (dev's) perspective.
Thank you for submitting! 🙇♂️
Great puzzles, had a little trouble accidentally corrupting the items but had a blast.
