Nice spin-off! ;) Also fits well within the theme. I like that you made the enemies faster, gives a good difficulty challenge.
The fact that you can somewhat freely move within the lanes is not better then original pac-man in my opinion. Was this a game design decision or was this easier to program?

The sound of stunning the ghost police with your flashlight got me every time. My one thing is that the movement felt really slow. This may have something to do with my pc not doing great on webbuilds though. Completed the game with a score of 3660 no cherries. Fun lil take on pacman!

Hey some clarification here.
I just found out that the reason all webbuilds are a little weird to play has to do with my browser, OperaGX. When playing again on Microsoft Edge just now the speed was just fine.

This is a fun little idea for a game. It controls well for the most part, although I do think it would play more fluidly if the flashlight was tied to the movement controls. Overall its a good game.

Nice use of the theme and also great idea of the flashlight freezing the ghosts. The text was a bit blurry on my end, could only be me. Good job for 2 days!

Yeah converted the game to JavaScript to get it to run in browser and I didn't have time to figure out what was wrong with the font :')
This is should be a great example game for the light and darkness theme, gameplay is straight forward. Smart use of indicator to replace traditional ui. Perhaps you could add intense sound when the ghost come closer to make player fell suspenseful.

So there's the pac man ghost noise when they come close, as well as a heart beat but I think they're a little low in volume!
