This was a fun game to play, with even a few little jump scares from ghosts appearing at the window and similar moments—nicely done!

The 2D mixed with 3D style worked well once again :-), and the intro was also well made and polished.

However, the font during the intro and also in-game was a bit hard to read. Maybe placing it inside a panel or box could help it stand out better against the background.

The atmosphere was well built, with the rain (though a bit loud indeed), dripping faucet, and haunting sounds setting the mood nicely. I had to stay sharp to spot the anomalies, but that’s part of the challenge, of course.

The theme was present—check!

Controls worked well, graphics were solid, and the audio and SFX were all fitting and effective. All in all, a solid game jam entry for this theme. Well done! 👻🎮🌧️

I really liked this game!

It creates a inmersive atmosphere and the fusion of 2d and 3d assets is really well implemented. I found that for me, text were a bit difficult to read because they lacked a plain or "shadowed" background, and maybe a checklist or something to help me track the annomalies that I already discovered. At first it was a bit difficult to know what I was doing, but I don't think that is wrong in a videogame like this. The player needs to discover what is wrong and what is the objective. But following that, it was a bit off to have a huge text telling me what door to pick, I think maybe somethin more subtle like using different colors for the doors.

I really loved the spooky ghost desing, at first I thought this game would be scary but it was a nice surprise! Congrats on your game, its a very nice experience!

Great game! Reminded me alot of signal 8, love the mix between 2D and 3D looks, I was able to beat it though I kind of wish if it showed me that i encountered all the anomalies or not but otherwise had a great time!

Okay, so the art and story is great, humor much appreciated. But damn that guy with the white eyes scared me.

If you're gonna do a spot-the-difference kind of game, I think it's a really good idea if you tell the player what they missed if they say "normal" but there's an anomaly. I gave up trying after 4 runs failed, and each run failed I had no idea what I had missed. Things like the shadow man, cheese, or the hands on the window are easy to spot, but apparently there was some really well hidden object that I just could not find.

Apart from that I think you could improve the door opening/walking animation to make it less obvious that you're just teleporting back, and the kitchen countertop had some annoying Z-fighting.

Thanks for playing!

There are three possible anomalies outside of the apartment (visible through the window). Other more "subtle ones" are the faucet drippping blood, bug on the kitchen floor, one of the photos moving, and different movie title on the poster.

The "walking through the door" animation proved to be somewhat tricky. The player can approach the door from different positions and angles, and If I just let the player go through it would be difficult to trigger some of the anomalies (as they are decided based on what you did in the last room). If this was a "big" project I would have worked something out, but because it's  a game jam, and I wanted to have the main game loop finished by the second day, I just disable the player collider, and  played controls and move them through the door.
