How does your game fit the theme?
I think it fits it perfectly by being literaly isolated from human race and even animals as small as ants

GAMEPLAY
I enjoyed the experience of walking through the nicely designed levels, but the game felt short and lacked some content. Would have loved to see or do some more. Even tough it was probably intentional for the theme.

ART STYLE / VISUALS
The pixel art and small visual effects were well-executed. Nice appealing aesthetic.

AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The music was fitting, adding to the game's atmosphere, although the repetitive nature of the jump sound could be addressed.

INNOVATION
Not really applicable

THEME
The theme of isolation was incorporated, particularly noticeable towards the game's end.

Nice game jam entry for this theme and solid base for a more content rich platformer. šŸ’Ŗ

I apparently got all three easter eggs but donā€™t know where one of them was, was it the log? I felt the jump sound was a little annoying and got repetitive fast. In Godot, if you just use an AudioStreamRandomizer instead of AudioStream for the sound effect, you can still use just the one sound and set pitch variance to like 1.05 and itā€™ll sound a lil different every time. I mean, if you wantedā€¦ :P

I liked the wind effect in the trees a lot, and the dirt particles were cute. Otherwise this was just short and real simple, not necessarily a bad thing. I liked the ā€œrevealā€ at the end :)

Thanks for your feedback! Actually one of the Šµaster eggs is in a pit with bushes under a moving platform, it is kind of hard to see.

Interesting thing about audio, I didnā€™t even know it existed, Iā€™ll try it, thanks!

Simple platformer game, but the mood was nice and relaxing. The only feedback I could give you is to try to place the right tiles of the tilemap to connect things like grass. It is especially visible below the slopes, where you can clearly see the grass on the two slopes not connecting properly. It's not a big issue, but it would make your environment look much cleaneršŸ˜‰

Thanks for your feedback! I see that it doesnā€™t look very good, Iā€™ll try to make it better next time.

I am a lover of pixel art and this game has provided me a great feeling and inspiration for my games as well.

The concept is pretty good and overall it is a pretty good game.

You can check out my game and rate it as well.

Hope you will give a good feedback.

This is the only game in the jam where I found an Easter egg,  xd. Aslo, I felt depressed at the end if that was your intent, you succeeded, pal. There is not much to the game, which is its biggest flaw. Good art style, btw.

Developer

Yea, I kind of wanted to make a game that expressed the feelings one might get from being completely isolated in an unknown place. Thanks for playing!

Loved the general atmosphere with the art and sound design. The character felt pretty good to control too, which made me a little sad that there wasn't more when I got to the end. Really see potential here with a very solid foundation already, and despite how short it was the ending felt surprisingly poignant with the zoom out.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I didn't have enough time to add more content to the game, so I focused more on polishing the existing content.

Played and rated!

Nice loving small game I liked the art style, not much content was there though but was nice replaying to try and find the easter egg I missed!

Would appreciate if you check out and rate our game as well:

What a lovely game! The music and scene-setting is a delight. It has a definite vibey flow with no interruptions. Great job for a game jam!

Thank you!

It's surprisingly moody for how short and simple it is!
