Interesting idea for a game! I had success sticking rockets everywhere except the bottom where I put armor and having a levitation roof to keep me alive just a bit longer. I ran into that double tower bug too but a reload fixed it. Thankfully, this game saves your progress! Nice!

This is a really fantastic little game. I thought it was a really clever premise and twist on the theme, the characters were great, and the music was a great choice. Very well done!

One of my favourites. Strategizing about what segments to use was a lot of fun. The storyline and characters were a nice touch :D In the end my best strategy was rocketwheels, runes, runes, overarmor, rockets, warp and spamming the cooldown (I call it the speedrun strategy :D).
Would love to see a more polished version with a graphics overhaul and more complexity (resistance/weakness against some enemytypes for example, maybe the ability to fight back with archers and cannons)
I'm glad you liked my game! I didn't have time to implement them, but I did want some tower pieces to have active abilities too, like a net thrower to temporarily disable a turret.
I loved this game! It was simple, and so enjoyable. It would be nice to get feedback on the choice that already exists for the different tower levels. It was a little confusing at first what I was supposed to do clicking through the menu on the left. If when you clicked it highlighted what was selected that might make it clearer. Very fun overall!

very nice, had a lot of fun experimenting with different tower builds. simple art style but its charming and cohesive. the sfx were very much appreciated. did run into some minor bugs, such as being stuck on the victory screen for the final boss and having 2 towers going at once. but overall great game, had a lot of fun with it!

not too sure honestly, it happened on the same level as the final boss bug where i couldn’t move past the victory screen. the round started and i had two towers going. the glitched tower was all runes, rocket boost floor, and warp. sorry i can’t be of more help :(
No need to apologize, I was able to reproduce The Two Towers bug! It turns out if you end the level in just the wrong way, the win checker fires twice. I believe I got it fixed for a postjam patch. Thanks for the help!
I got two towers as well. I continued after winning on the end.
Awesome, super fun game. The amount of customisation and reverse tower defence theming work super well together. The art is pretty basic but it's all thematically the same and works together. But most importantly this was a lot of fun.
I'm sure there could be some more balancing done as I was able to finish on the first run with 2 over armor, 2 runes and the warp power up which seemed a bit OP.
Loved it and would play a bigger release of it.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm not sure if I'll go much further with this game, but I am tempted to make a level expansion, since I have more time to make sure the levels are harder but still beatable.
I like the idea of customizing your tower with the many different customizations. I still don't quite understand the runic part though, does it help with the cooldown of the ability or does it make the ability stronger? (i.e. you teleport further). I had fun tinkering with the customizations.
Thanks for giving my game a shot! Yeah, the runic parts enhance the abilities of the magic in some way, warp takes you farther while the other two abilities last longer.
Speed is king! Rockets and warp all the way! Full turtle is way too slow for not having that big of a health/armor buff. With full rockets the boss can't even hit you! Was really fun anyway could be a fun game to push a bit further. Got a real Octogeddon vibe!

The rockets used to be even faster if you could believe it. I nerfed it enough so the boss can occasionally get a lucky hit in on playtesting, which causes an almost immediate game over since full rocket is less stable than a house of cards. Thanks for playing my game!
