The first manequim encounter almost killed me(in real life), the scariest game for me so far, I couldnt get passed level 6, I feel like in every dead end you got there should be a rat to compensate, the first time in the bigger maps I would just spend all the blood in dead ends, the red carpets helps in the navigation, good sfx also, especially the manequim walking... Good job!

This is an exploration game where you DON'T use your blood to power a flashlight. That'd be weird, wouldn't it? Ok......plan B JUMPSCARE

Competently done, though it seems like the sprawl of the levels starts to become an issue. Not bad at all for a solo dev!

Good game!  The jump scare was great but I wouldn't see it in reality cuz my flashlight ran out.  Maybe when the player's flashlight runs out, have the monster quickly fade in like it has some scary glow it can turn on/off.  The game could use some more SFX like footsteps, creaking, etc.  The tileset should be more varied so I can remember landmarks and not get too lost.  Great job on the mood, atmosphere, and theme.  I don't think anyone has done the flashlight mechanic like you have with the double lightning.

I died in the seventh level by the dog ;-;

Anyway... Great game! Not being able to run really improves the feeling. The change in the enemies to the 'white eyes in the dark' to the 'steps in the dark' was really awesome. Very creative, congrats!

Man I got to like level 8 or 9 but my game suddenly froze :/ this was really solid though. Excellent ambience. Gameplay is great too, takes a simple concept and builds on it to make a challenging but fair experience. I love how literal the title is lol. Genuinely good sprite work as well, I especially love the rat in the inventory and the jumpscares. The music on the title screen and map select was also great, and it makes me wish there was some more ambient music during the levels so I had more time to appreciate it!

There was a bit of jank with the collisions with the mannequins where I had to rotate in a strange way to squeeze past them. I imagine if I played long enough I'd end up getting stuck until the next time it activated and I'd lose the level as a result. Also the flashlight doesn't quite cover the angles I'd like it to? Hard to explain, but a pretty minor complaint. Overall you did a fantastic job!

Cool game! I do wish the player would move a bit faster though. The game over screen really got me tbh, and it's very well animated too. 😁 Congrats!

Hahahhahahah, I really liked the  "game over" scene!

The dark atmosphere works even with simple art. I felt like there was a lack of a button to run, as the general movement is a bit slow. And when the flashlight runs out, being able to run from the monster could add a little action and desperation for the hope that you might be able to escape...
