Really good looking game - really committing to the look.  I loved all the little particle effects too and the pause screen too.

In normal mode it feels like it takes a while for enemies to spawn but that's a nice thing in 1 hit mode, haha.

Very unique take on a shmup! The spawn rate was awful, but the controls and VFX are tight! Well done!

Had a great time! I liked the move animation and particle effects. I agree the background is a bit too much for my eyes as well but thats a minor thing and easy to adjust. Polished submission, good job!

I like the One-Hit mode and you definitely nailed the retro sprites! Sometimes it felt like I was waiting for enemies to spawn.

I like the sounds for the game + the sprites for the angels / the player character. The background is a bit abrasive to look at while playing. 

I really like the first "boss" and the visuals!

I'm curious to hear the story behind "if you can't move, restart the page." Is that some sort of Godot bug you ran into, or a thing with itch.io, or specific browsers, or what?

I have no idea if it's from itch or godot but the bug is only there when you play in the browser. 

I don't know if it's the browser because I haven't tested it in other browsers.

Fun.  I liked the style and he firing sounds.  However, the sound of hitting the wall and the shake hurt so much after a while.  Fun though
