Well, this feels like 3D Megaman X series, for the controls and the aesthetics I think more or less helps it.

Must be already more than 1 year participating godot wild jams, thus can use those wildcards and themes in the past properly into the game you made for this game jam. I think I'm not surprise to hear if you publicly announced your own commercial game in development on some day.

No more things to say, to be honest, this is just a plain great game to play!

...that...

...made my day better. Thanks. <3

Wow that was a mix of everything, quite an experience!

I found myself chuckling at quite a few of the jokes while also thinking "I really shouldn't be laughing at this". The UI in the menu was really snazzy, though! I like that you've made the combat a bit more intricate this time, but it's hampered that you only have two types of enemy to try it out on. Figuring out that they were affected by friendly fire was a real "ah-ha!" moment.

Developer

I actually planned 4 enemies: one 100% flying drone with a circular saw so you would have to jump to hit it, and one short one which would be hidden in the grass (and the reason for the tall grass to be there). Ended up not doing them due to time :(
Thanks for playing and enduring the questionable sense of humour!

it would very helpful if there was a tutorial or something to show the controls, and also If I could skip all the dialogs (just a personal preference), other than that, it's a well polished game. Nice Work!

Very nice and polished. Unfortunately, however many times I tried, I couldn't jump over the first hole, so I couldn't get far.

Developer(+1)

You have double jump and dash. One jump and one dash should be enough, but you can dash twice if you want. Default control for dash is shift.

Had some fun once I got into it, the controls weren't very intuitive and there was a lot of dialog though. The art was pretty impressive and cohesive.

Thanks! Yyou can remap as you please, and is best experienced with a gamepad, in case it helps
