Lasted 2 days friend. Too barebones but the idea gets across. Shame you didn't had enough time. I see potential if you keep working on it :)

Nice idea but the game is too hard, I always lose on day 1. Maybe you could have made it so you can get back to the hut when the sandstorm happens even without the supplies, and have to go out again when it ends.

I like the sprite of the character. Your tilesets could look more natural if you design tiles where you mix both types of sands, to be used between those two types of sands as a transition.

Btw If you participate to the next GWJ I can play your next game on stream (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/878547511)

Nice idea with the different movement speeds! I also like the pixel art on the character and the overall theme and gameplay.

It was way too hard though :D I tried a few times, but the sandstorm swallowed me each time...

Despite my best efforts I never made it to the hut. Maybe add some landmarks so the player can find their way around a bit better. I had fun playing though, good job!

Nice entry! The art style suits the game really well. I found it pretty hard though, perhaps either the player is too small or the map is too vast? It would definitely also benefit from audio. I enjoyed this - great job!

Cool that you have implemented the random generation (with a seed!). The concept was nice too. Sadly, I wasn't able to get to the hut 😥

Cool game idea! I liked the character movement and simple to understand goal. I might suggest setting camera limits so that you can't see the black void around the map when you approach the edge. It might make it feel more immersive. Overall, nice game!

The idea of the game was fun and challenging. The vast desert made it hard to both find the items and get back to your hut. Felt more like a game of chance at times.

I could see the black void of the world at the edge.

Having music or effects would have added to the feeling of despair and anxiety

Decent game, overall

Collected all items once out of 5 tries. Couldn't even get around map once to get back to the hut, felt that the map was too vast. Perhaps if make it a bit smaller could be a good idea. ALso perhaps making icons of items larger size could help as well.

Controls are simple and easy to understand from first attempt.

Not sounds or music at all. Would've enhanced experience for sure.

Game idea is descent, survival of the nomad. But lack of audio doesn't make it better.

Sorry if I'm too harsh.
