I liked the 3D, and the mini fight with the gun. The sound effects were good.

Was it supposed to end after getting to the rocket? Otherwise, decent looking game, the sudden combat was a bit unexpected!

Missing the pck for Windows and my antivirus flagged it as well.

Weird, I myself get antivirus alerts which MAKES NO SENSE!
And I also PACKED the pck inside it so I don't know why it does not start up without it.

Anyways I have uploaded the .pck file.

It might because you packed the pck file inside of it that it doesn't like it. I was able to open it and play a little bit just now. I got to the part with big floaty heads and killed them all, but when I went to the rocket it seemed to crash. Also, not sure if this was intetional, but the tank appeared as a untexture cube. Let us know when you get the file thing figured out. I'd love to give it another whirl!

I don't know what it is about your games, but in general, I hate 3D games, and love yours. Please keep up that awesome flare. The only major things I'd suggest, David below actually suggested: increase the contrast ratio of the text color (and/or give it an outline in black or even both white and black, or put it onto a panel that has a solid background color, then make the text stand out more) and increase the size of it, and find some way to prevent the enemies from spawning more or less on top of you. This game was very fun though.

The Linux version (and it looks like the Windows version too) are just the Godot binary, and are missing the .pck file that has the actual game data. It looks like the MacOS zip has the .pck, so I was able to play by combining the .pck from the MacOS zip with the Linux binary.

I like that you had voice acting and a narrative mission structure. I enjoyed the PS1 style. The switch to FPS combat was fun. It would be nice if the text was larger for my old man eyes. :-) Also, on my first play through the baddies spawn right on me and I immediately died, and didn't really know what was happening. Finished on the 2nd play through.

Congrats on finishing! Every game is a miracle. :-)

I really like the idea of first just collecting the water and then being suddenly surprised by FPS combat. For some reason, the ending won't play for me and it just closes the game :/. But all in all a very fun and unique, although very short game!

Testing env: OSX Catalina 32GB RAM , i9 CPU 2.9GHZ

My thoughts:

As a survival game I feel excited, good storytelling and ambience. I hope the enemies won't spawn suddenly in front of my face so I can survive not by pure luck.

ps. Strange - when dieing once, I get revived but then the game gets lagged too much

This gets chewed up by my antivirus.
