The graphics were awesome.  Great color choice.  The sort of noir, superhero vibe that you've got going is totally rad.  Everything looked and felt smooth and polished.  I'm totally blown away at what you pulled together in such a short period of time.  Strong work!

Developer

Thanks! I didn't do the graphics though, I did the programming. I was really impressed by what he did too!

I really like how you build in the glitch theme. A bit more explanation for the distracting blocks would have been helpful, as the others already mentioned

Developer

Thanks!

Also, distracting blocks? You mean the rocks? Those are a bit broken apparently, I'll fix that soon

Hey, I wanted to give your game a try, but I think there is an issue with the Linux build, I keep getting the message "Could not display 'Linux.x86_64'"

Developer

Weird. I'll try and export it again, give me a sec

I got it to work, so it seems that your Linux build for whatever reason does not have execute permissions. (I've encounted this with a few other Godot games) In any unix environment (Windows Linux subsystem would work), you can run `sudo chmod +x APPFILE.x86_64` and that'll fix the issue.

Btw, good game, it played pretty well. I stood on the sides of the walls a few times, but I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. lol

Developer

The standing on the walls was... unintentional, but allowed to stay because it was too hard to fix and not a big deal. Is it possible to give it permission to run from Godot?

Submitted

I think it tries to by default, I'm not 100% certain what causes the file to get improper permissions. I make my builds via Linux command line, so I've never had that issue.

This game was super difficult, but also super fun. I really enjoyed it. Figuring out what all would cause glitches was decent. I played the "better" version, and the only thing I'd say is to make it more obvious how the rocks work to distract hats and stuff. Really just a little bit better tutorial (as you mentioned before) and I think you have a top-notch submission here.

Thanks! A few people said the difficulty curve was too steep, so I'm currently making an updated version

The detailed and out-of-the-box glitch effects are astonishing! The way this game breaks the 4th wall is pretty creative. Sadly dying makes it extremely hard to keep playing (making it more like a roguelike game) so I didn't play for long.

Developer

The tutorial is unclear. I should have added more explanation. Those weird green coins? They fix all glitching

After it glitches, things kinda get confusing.

Developer

Yeah, this is the old version. There's a fixing thing in the new version that was done in the jam, just not uploaded yet. I'll upload it as soon as I can
