Liked it, was i good? NO :) but I want to play more and learn. The sounds was good and gave nice respons to what happened in the game.

Quite immersive, especially in the sound design.

I really like what you did there with the submarine controls directly on the screen as if you had the actual instruments pannel in front of you

That being said i feel the game doesn't really have issues itself but more that it falls in the category of " not for everybody" in the sense that it has quite a complex simulation aspect to it and is awesome for that, but might be a bit complex to grasp if you're not into this type of game. So not really an issue but more something to take into account i think.

But to sum up, solid entry, very nice art and sound design, and impressive that you made such complex mechanics for a jam game.

I played with the mouse, but it was the most immersive experience I had in the game jam! We really think we are under water and the ambiance sounds are great! When I exploded I jumped out of my chair :-D Really good graphics too! You should definitely sell it in a store. Congrats for the awesome game!

Very atmospheric, reminiscent of barotrauma. You can add a scanner like submarines for even more atmospheric and crackling glass at great depth and after a mine

This is an awesome style! I was sort of confused on what to do, but I still enjoyed trying to figure it out. Really loved how the panel starts crack once you hit a mine. Great ambient sounds too!

So first of this is a gorgeous game! I love how you were able to capture the atmosphere of a submarine.

Unfortunately I did not really get what I need to do. I鈥檓 just floating around a bit, I think I have a grasp of how to move, but I鈥檓 not sure. The game could do with a tutorial.

Hi, game graphics and sounds are awesome, but to be honest, I could figure it out what those buttons do, neither if I am moving automatically or not. I tried html version.

Hey, thanks so much, for the kind words and for your feedback.

For the movement, you can tell you are moving either by the change in scenery when climbing or diving (blue buttons), and with the cable you are extending when moving forward (red button). There are also metrics at the bottom of the screen that gives you depth and speed.

I wonder, would you say that the scan lines from the CRT shader contribute to the feeling that you are moving automatically? Also, how clear was it to you that the view is top-down, rather than a sideway view?

So I tried it again after your explanation and now I got it. I was pressing the red button and not holding it, so I didn't see any movement in my first try. Now due to extending cable, the movement is obvious. Also for the first time, when I tried the blue buttons, it was changing the scenery, but felt more or less like random change. At this point it was quite clear what to do.

As a feedback I think, that it CRT shader is nice, but yes, it contributed to the feeling of automatic movement. Maybe if it would be rotating like "radar" instead vertical movement - but again this is based on my first impression, when it wasn't clear to me, how to play it correctly.
Also I think, that if buttons would have more symbols, it would be better (e.g. arrow up and down, at the top showing symbol of rope/cable going out/in)...

But I still think, that it is very atmospheric game (sound effects and visuals are great) with a lot of potential ;
