Getting that Hotline Miami vibe from the game :) Very fun gun play, definitely rolling the dice on robbing the casino. One criticism though is, since the art of character, backgrounds are quite flat combining with bright color and large map, it look very busy to the eye. I think having the map viewport zoom in a bit more would make aesthetic better. Overall very fun to play!
yea, we did notice afterwards how bad the contrast is. If we make a postjam version that is one of the things we'd fix for sure.
Wow, that grappling hook is super fun to use! I like the idea of using risk assessment to choose whether or not you want to make it out with the cash! Good play on the theme! I think it would be nice if the area were a bit smaller, just to make it easier to run to the exit, but I suppose that's one of the risks you take if you choose to go further! Good work!
The music in this game slaps and the mechanics are really well thought out, Had alot of dun playing the game :)
Awesome music! I like the grappling hooks a lot
Nice gameplay. Amazing environment. Please check out my game.
It was super hectic/fun to run past a bunch of guys and dodge their bullets while they chase you down!
Also, more grappling hooks in all games, please. :)
It's missing the juicy stuff, you could use the talk : "Juice it or lose it - a talk by Martin Jonasson & Petri Purho" for your next project!
Or maybe you just didn't have the time to do everything!
I didn't encounter any bug on the browser version, the game is working perfectly.
Anyway, well done for having finished a game in 48h!
we definitely planned more juice and excitement, but we were suuuper short on time and barely managed to submit it at all lol.
Solid overall, but for a few nit picks. I feel like the visuals could have used a clarity pass, like maybe a close camera and some more differentiation between the foreground and background. In the current state it is pretty hard tell whats going on when I'm so far away and the beautiful floor textures are the main thing catching my eye. Gameplay-wise, its fun if a little simple, and could use a little more impact to make your actions stand out some more. Congrats to the team for the entry!
Cool art and music. The floor tiles are a bit too noisy making it hard to see when a lot of stuf is moving around.
Some feedback when hitting an enemy and when getting hit would have ben amazing.
Good job!
cool game and music, but details in the ground made it difficult to see enemies or their bullets.
Very decent game :)
I love the cover too.
