The mechanics seem neat. The presentation was really well done, but the game play itself didn't really have the time to play out.

I like the concept and would've definitely played more. The health system seems to give some freedom which is nice. Great work!
Cool concept, and the presentation is simple, slick, & just enough. Great idea implementing moving-camera feature, it let me see every side of the dice and plan ahead. I'd love to see more in the future, good luck!
The game had a really interesting concept and mechanic and giving the ability to move your camera around is a nice touch, wish you create more levels after the jam since it's nice to explore those ideas. Well done!
i liked the mechanics a lot! the camera shift was quite a nice feature, and the visuals are very polished. i would love to play more levels with new and difficult mechanics implemented!
There were a few that were right on the cusp of making it, but just not enough time when working alone.
To be specific:
- a harder mode where the tiles increment after you roll over them
- more polish -> floating text above the die to help indicate health gain or loss
- map generator (~65% done)
I opted to drop these to hammer out the 2 extra levels, as well as playtest. None of those extra features would have made the cut, so I figured 3 total levels is better than 1 tutorial and a bunch of mechanics not being used.
Thanks for the feedback!
I'm very impressed with the amount of polish to the game. A lot of submissions don't feature a tutorial and the alternate camera mode was very useful. It's one of those things which you take for granted until you play submissions of similar games that don't have it :) I did encounter a bug where I fell off the map and the level didn't restart, other than that it's really well made.
Someone else reported that bug to me in discord as well. I cannot replicate it after like 20 minutes of trying. Although, that's not as bad as the other bug pointed out where the check for the floor is too late for input - so you can literally just hold the keys and go "anywhere" hahaha.
I appreciate the praise on polish! I ended up taking the "lets try every mechanic" test level, and turning it into the tutorial - glad people find it useful.
I knew someone would have the same idea as me, I just hoped no one managed to implement it THIS GOOD. My game just feels like a crappy version of yours now :( congratulations, its amazing.
